It is important because you as an individual need to have a synergy with the company’s vision and mission. So that when you work in the company, you will be happy that you are in the right place and can take ownership of the vision of that company like yours.

And it is also good for leadership direction. With the vision and mission in mind, leadership can create a path for the team to follow without losing focus on the clear goals of the company.

1. Knowing the difference between vision and mission is very important. If there’s vision for Moralis but no mission, it is bound to fail due to not being grounded. We need a mission to know where we’re going as a unit.
If we have a mission, but no vision, the team might be oblivious to the bigger picture. They’ll know where theyre headed, not understanding why or doing it with a solitary purpose.

It is important to know the vision and mission of the organization you are a part of because if their goals and values do not closely align with your own, it will not benefit you or the company. Knowing these two things can also keep you on track with the work you are doing, as a set of over arching principles.
