Once all the bitcoins are mined what will be the incentive to maintain the blockchain network?
Will there be a new incentive? or will the fraction of a bitcoin be so small that it will take to infinity to mine all the available bitcoin?
Will the supply of bitcoin be increased?
when all the bitcoins are mined miners are incentivized to mine for the fees they receive from the bitcoin network. In 2140 the last bitcoin is probably gonna be mined.
And the last question the hard cap of bitcoin is programmed into the blockchain so you can’t change that
