Is there something like web3.JS but for the bitcoin blockchain?

Hi there,

I would like to know if there’s anything like the web3.JS (library? framework?) but for the bitcoin blockchain? I don’t see too much development of dAPPs for the bitcoin blockchain, is that the reason why? beacuse if we are going to compare the Tx fees, Ethereum Tx fees were much higher when we had a 4kUSD ethereum

Bitcoin doesn’t have an EVM, you don’t have capabilities to develop dapps like that on Bitcoin. There are libraries for creating complex bitcoin transactions like bcoin. Web3 js on the other hand was specifically developed to interact with smart contracts.
