Hello to all of you!

My name is Plamen (means “Flame” in Bulgarian) and I live in Sofia, Bulgaria.

I am 48, currently between jobs (taking a gap year, actually, and probably a new career afterwards).

In the past I have engaged with Webdesign, Blogging, and some Social Media Marketing.

My first programming language was BASIC - back in 1986 - and then some C++ in 1994 but after that I haven’t done any coding so I consider myself an absolute beginner.

March 2017 was my introduction to cryptocurrencies and that has been my passion since. In the beginning of 2018 I began also to do some crypto trading.

I am currently developing a website for crypto news in Bulgarian: www.kriptonomika.com

Hi all,
My name is Thomas and I live in Ireland. When I found bitcoin in 2010 I never thought that technology may have so many use cases in our world. So I “forgot” about it for 7 years and got distracted by other stuff. Ethereum and its success in 2017 opened my eyes how powerful blockchain technology is and how it will reshape our world.
Thank you @ivan and the rest of your crew for making it possible to learn. Your content on Youtube is extremely valuable. I am sure that I`ll learn a lot here.

Hi I.AM,
It’s not a small idea, nor easy, it may not even be possible and not even know how far I will get, but I’m damn sure I will try it.

The summary of the summary of the idea is to create the means to allow people to use an e-currency without the need of exchanges, banks and intermediaries.

This is not possible today, today’s users are mainly investors, speculators and wealthy people, I want to setup a system that should allow everybody to use e-currency as a normal day by day currency, totally anonymous as physical money is.

Hi Ivan! Guys and Galls!

My name is Petr
(homologous to Peter, You can call me that … here and elsewhere I often go under nicks PetrReo, Reo or ReoOn).
I live in Czech Republic, Prague … and sending greetings to you from countryside in south of the country where I reside when having time (the castle picture is from there).

I am biologist in theoretical research by profession, always curious and studying type about 40 years by now.

I always had tended to broaden my perspective beyond the scope of my profession, whether it was to study theoretical biology, be in between the first gen of Wikipidia contributors, study politics or economy.

I started to follow and pick up blockchain technology and invest into it about one year ago. At first I started very slowly, however with time I am more and more thrilled and interested and increase the chunks I swallow. Now I am thrilled to be here. However I still need my brain for the biology at the same time, so I will try to get it slowly and steady… and when I will sve enough time for it.

Ivan thanks for the oportunity

Hi,
I live in sunny Queensland, Australia. I have no programming experience but love steep learning curves.
I have spent most of my life working in health services, including delivery, management and safety and quality.
Since becoming interested I the crypto/DLT space in November 2017 (6 months ago)I have completed the Blockchain Fundamentals course, listened to many YouTube presentations by Ivan and others, joined a local group and become involvedwith a blockchain project in the area.
This is a fascinating field and I am really looking forward to progressing through this course and learning much from Ivan and my fellow students.

Hi everyone. Im from a small town in northern NSW, Australia. I started learning about blockchain and cryptocurrencies nearly a year ago to the day. I have a background in Journalism and Education. I would like to work as a writer within the space, and am looking to deepen my knowledge. I also studied linguistics at university and love to learn languages. I have been learning Chinese for the past two years and this is my current favourite hobby. As far as computer science is concerned, I know only some basic HTML at this stage, but I am really excited to learning more about how to code using C++ and Javascript, and understand something about smart contracts. I don’t which video it was that first got me hooked, but it quickly became apparent to me that Ivan was the best person to follow for anyone wanting to understand the technology around blockchain and consensus algorithms on a deeper level, as opposed to getting caught up in the hype around the space. I’m so happy to be here and super excited to get started.

Hi All
I’m best described as a tinker of all things made.
I’m relatively new to both the blockchain and programming. I have a bunch of stuff that I like to build and the solution has led me to programming and this forum.

Hello Ivan and everyone,

I am Kestutis Januskevicius, co-founder and CTO at codum.io
We are very happy to join coding course which so far as I see is a perfectly all-rounded summary of reference every blockchain developer should have access to. In addition to mastering EOS (on which we are building), we will be more than happy to participate in all coding/development related discussions and help everyone.

Looking forward!

Hi ianj Kelly_Irish and iwan.spillebeen, I’m 54 but can’t say that I’m getting younger each day…though this course has got me feeling younger by the hour. (smiley face insert here, if I knew how to do that. Guess old-timer might be appropriate.)
