Hello guys, my name is Chris and I am a technical analyst or market analyst specialising in trading the FTSE/DOW/DAX futures and Forex (15 years in financial services) and am a self-taught programmer.

I taught myself how to program in MQL4 (very similar to C++) so I could build scripts, trading algorithms and various programs to support my trading and I taught myself to build websites so I am familiar with html, css, javascript, bootstrap and php.

I have recently become obsessed with learning about the future applications of blockchain, because after studying the economy for so long, I have deep concerns about the longevity of the current financial system and believe in the wider use cases of blockchain technology (and its evolutionary path). I’m a big fan of Dan Larimer, so the EOS module is one I look forward to studying.

I’d love to connect with people and learn as much as possible about the opportunities available, because we’re all here for the same reason.

Hope to speak to some of you soon

my name is Phil, originally from montreal quebec canada, currently living in Massachusetts USA. I work as a tier 3 team lead for technical support, my background is in network administration. my programming knowledge is superficial. i can look through code and can sometimes find issues but i cant write it myself. i figured i’d give this a shot  I’ve tried programming alone before (c++ for dummies) made the thermometer program but beyond that i’m lost.
hello everyone glad to be here!

Hi Everyone,
Great to be here, looking forward to learning lots about programming the blockchain and smart contracts from Ivan (who I have been following on YouTube) and Filip.

In the last 6 months, I have been studying Python via Michigan University (Coursera) and wish to now ramp up to smart contract programming. I currently reside in NZ (middle earth for all Tolkien fans), other interests include Art (painting), modeling in Maya 3d and reading.

Hello,
My name is jong. It is exciting to be part of this group. Looking forward to learn new things and share ideas with people from all different background. I heard about bitcoin in 2010 and I thought “cool!” I used bitcoin to transfer and exchange to local currency while I was traveling to Canada, USA and Korea.
I always wanted to learn more about blockchain. Now I can with this courses. Thank you!

hi everyone! david here from luxembourg, spent a lot of time away, went to school in canada and over 10 years in china, before ending up back in luxembourg, where i have been mostly working in real estate development, besides a couple of other activities.

i have been absorbing all i can from the crypto space for the past year, starting with bitcoin mining, investing in various currencies and ico’s, and researching and learning on a daily basis ever since. as this space is evolving in a dramatically rapid fashion, i have been fortunate to meet many like-minded and capable people, and i am looking forward to playing a meaningful role in the new era and paradigm.

Hi guys, my name is Maxfield and I’m a statistician living in Ghana. I’ve helped to design and carry out research in a teaching hospital from since i graduated Uni in 2011.

I first heard about Bitcoin in 2011 but got in last year 2017. I’ve since been quite obsessed with learning about blockchain technology and all of its exciting applications, with particular interests in projects like Bitcoin, Ethereum, Cardano, and EOS. I am purposely here to learn how to code and write smart contracts. The only coding experience i have is with R programming language for data analysis.

I am eager to learn as much as possible so i can help spread the word about blockchain in my country because though most young folks out here have heard about Bitcoin, there’s a massive lack of understanding about what a blockchain is and how the technology works.

looking forward to learning from the community and creating new partnerships that could lead to collabrating on projects in future.

Hello, My name is Chijioke aka “financialfreedomcj.” I am all about freedom. First of all I want to thank my Lord and Personal Savior, Jesus Christ for the spiritual freedom I have through Him. I owe everything to Him. I am also thankful for Cryptocurrency and the financial freedom I believe that it will bring to humanity I have been in investing in Crypto for about a year and half. I am pretty excited about blockchain and how it will revolutionize every area of our lives.I have invested in real estate, stocks, etc but nothing has ever given me the results Crypto has given me but there is much more than the financial blessings. Now I want to go under the hood and really know how the tech works so I am pretty excited about the programming course.

My name is Jacob and I am a computer science major at WCU. I have a little experience with java and javaScript, but would like to learn EOS programming language, Wren, to deploy my own dApps on what looks like the most scalable blockchain out there. I plan on creating an online casino centered around my favorite game, Texas Hold 'em no limits, as an EOS project.

I host and consult to investment groups on ICO assesment best practice and do some blockchain consulting and advisory work. Hi fellow blockchain enthusiast! My name is Josh, and i’m here because my friend Dan who is also taking the course showed me your link. I want to create my own crypto of course, (i know we can’t use your code ;-)) I’m sure everyone here does as well. I think I’ve got a great idea for the use of it, and have been trying to bring the idea to life! I think this course will help me along this path.

Now I’m not sure if I can even start an ICO here in the states any more, but i still want to build the application, because i don’t believe on giving up on your dreams. A mutual friend of Dan and I has ran a successful ICO, and has a token by the name of SALT. Him being able to become a CEO of a major ICO like saltlending gave me motivation to not give up on my idea.

I am all about networking, so feel free to hit me up on skype @ jonnnnnutah.
I am really excited about taking this course, and look forward to learning, and meeting some new friends.

G’day all!

Wow! I’m surprised how many people are here, as well as how experienced a lot of you are. I’m from Sydney, Australia, and have just the most basic of programming experience. I’ve done a little Visual Basic and Javascript, mostly just to create a few programs to make my life a little easier, but nothing exciting.

I’ve been into Bitcoin since last year, having missed the opportunity a few times years ago. I’m taking this course mostly for inspiration to get into programming again and to see where it might lead me - a new career, maybe?

Looking forward to moving through the course with you, all.

Ivan, thanks for all the great videos and information over the last year. Taking this course is also a way I can give back to you a little.

Cheers!
Matt
