Introduce yourself

Hi to all !

I`m very big IoT ,computer software hardware passioned person.
I love free and open source software linux , networks , embedded devices like raspberry pi orange pi microcontrolers electronics etc … I have some experience already in programming HTML CSS, php, c , c++ Qt, i hope to learn JS basics from here too.

I was in BTC from beginning of 2013 but after crash in 2014 i sold most of my BTC (very stupid decision back at time) but when all return back in 2017 i invested much in LTC…
For one year i learned so many thinks how to trade and how to read charts etc it was amazing 2017 for me …

P.S Wish everyone good luck with the learning EOS and ETH

My name is Omar and i am a recent graduate of Mechanical Engineering residing in Canada. Since early 2017 i was introduced to blockchain and cryptocurrencies. Since then i have been very interested in this technology and would hopefully like to learn how to develop different applications that may run in a decentralized way on a blockchain. I have been a subscriber of Ivan on Tech since September of last year and his knowledge and videos have been very beneficial to me. I hope to continue learning more about this emerging field by completing the smart contract programming course.

Thank you for all your help and knowedge Ivan!

Hi everyone,

I am Deniz from Turkey. I am 29 years old and currently working as a modelling & simulation senior engineer in Turkey. I basically do programming myself on Matlab & Simulink. I first discovered bitcoin and cryptospace about 1 year ago. I first learnt the basics of bitcoin from Turkish sources on youtube and as I kept digging more and more, I discovered Ivan’s channel and watched almost all the videos  It’s so hard to find quality content on cryprocurrencies, most of the bitcoin owners(?!) doesnt even know what the hell is a private key.

I enrolled in blockchain academy because I want to seek out job opportunities in the near future. I normally do not like forums as much. However, I am really sick of being around people who draw stupid lines on bitcoin graphs all day and speculate about the price. There are so few people who actually wanna build something. It’s always good to interact with like minded passionate people

Hi Friends,

My name is Philippa. I’m looking forward to undertaking Ivan’s blockchain coding course with you all. I anticipate I will have many questions going forward as I am a complete newbie to coding. However, I am looking forward to the challenge of learning new skills and hopefully helping others to do so in given time. I agree with Ivan that that the blockchain space needs more people building applications and contributing positive developments. So this is my first step towards that vision!

Hello, my name is Beppe… gonna be hard to stick till the end of this long course, I hope this community will help me with it

Hello. I’m Neelesh. I’m a graphic/web designer with intermediate programming skills. I have a solid understanding of crypto currencies and blockchain technology thanks to Ivan Liljeqvist, Andreas Antonopoulos, Max Keiser and John McAfee.

I am currently transitioning into a different space and I want to help as many people as I can to understand Bitcoin and other crypto currencies. I also want to learn as much as I can regarding Smart Contracts. This technology gets me really excited and optimistic about the future.

I love football, running, and gaming.

Hello!

Here’s for my Alcoholics Anonymous style intro…

I’m Joe, I’m based in London and I haven’t touch programming since 2009. I work in military aerospace engineering, management and project management. I’m here to learn because I would like to work in the blockchain! My work is quite full on and so it will be hard to commit to learning the course , but I’ll get there in the eventually.

Good luck to us all!

Same for me… very busy work but I used programming in the past… oh and I love crypto/blockchain, so I would like to find a job in the field.

Hello everyone. My name is Herve - from Los Angeles, and I got into the blockchain space in Q3 2017. I actually got a bachelors degree in computer science back in 2002, but have been out of the space since then, so I consider myself very new to programming. I know what things like pointers, structs, arrays, linked lists are, but I don’t know how to implement them with code, and hope that this course will give me the tools to feel comfortable constructing these data structures on my own, and hope I will feel comfortable programming in the crypto space to some extent. I completed Ivan’s Deep Blockchain Fundamentals course, and recommend it for anyone looking to get a bit more familiar with blockchain before diving into this coding course.

Hi everyone, my name is Hernando you can call me Nando if you want, I am a Colombian guy and I live in Montreal. I am an embedded systems engineer and blockchain enthusiast since almost two years. I have focused my career mainly on IoT applications for the energy and construction sector.

In my free time I like to play my electric guitar, swim or hang out with friends.

I started really looking into crypto right before the bull run, Nov 2017. I found that I became enthusiastic about what it is, how it works, how it can benefit society. Over the years I have had conversations with people about the US debt and how they just kept printing money as well as watching my purchasing power dwindle. In the US wages not keeping up with inflation. This interested me and finding out about bitcoin and crypto made me feel like there is another way. So I started doing a lot of research and following a lot of youtube channels. I know its all kind of grass roots at this point but I believe something huge is brewing and a revolution is coming that will change the way the world views value. I feel like crypto could possibly be a way of going back to the gold standard in a way. Where they can’t just keep printing and devaluing hard earned money. I then became interested in the origins of bitcoin and how it was invented as a response to the financial crisis of 2008. I read a few books about it such as “The internet of Money” by Andreas Antanopolous. Long story short, I kind of fell down the rabbit hole. Anyways with everything I am seeing, aside from all the crypto scams, the world is going to be changing rather quickly in the next 5 to 10 years. I never learned to code, but have an engineering background. I’m always curious on how things work and am always looking to increase my skillset. I think that in the future it might be handy to know how to program and possibly be something I could actually do for income one day if I decide to.

Hi everyone,

My name is Alex and I’ve been investing in cryptocurrencies for just over a year now. My interest was initially sparked by the financial gains that I could make, but as I’ve learnt more about the tech, I believe that blockchain will change the world, and I want to be a part of it.

Greeting everyone. I signed up for Ivan’s blockchain development course and am diving in. Blockchain technology is revolutionary, and I want to know and contribute all I can.

When I am not doing something pertaining to blockchain, I am either fishing, camping, fishing and camping, or playing video games (SWTOR at the moment).

Anyway, I am glad to be part of the community here at Toshi Times. Happy blockchaining…

Hello, I’m Suz. I am an IOS developer and embedded Linux enthusiast. I’m looking forward to this course very much.
I went to school for Biology/Chemistry a long time ago in a city by the sea but most of my adult life I have spent teaching skiing on a mountain top. I began learning programming about 10 years ago and my fascination has just grown with every language, platform, and framework I’ve explored. Blockchain is very interesting and has me determined to skill up so I can contribute.
I live in Telluride Colorado and when I’m not soaking up tech I’m out skiing , biking or hauling kids to hockey games.

Hello Everyone. From the world of sales, with absolutely no coding background, to future Blockchain Dev hopeful. Originally from Mexico migrated to the states very early on in life. Residing in arid southern Arizona. Born a sport fanatic and morphed into this new me who is absolutely transformed in to a geeked out, passionate, borderline obsessive maniac, over Blockchain tech and Crypto.

I heard about this space mid last year and immediately i was captivated by the crypto purists who pledged equality to all citizens of the world, gave hope to the unbanked and victims of corruption and a promising future that excluded government impositions and currency freedom and oportunity to every human on earth. I said “whats not to like?” I only wish i had known someone with enough decency, tell me about this new tech years ago! SMH.

My Goal is to not only invest in crypto but be part of crypto and its future development, i hope to work in the space in one capacity or another and figured Im going ALL in on crypto and Blockchain. So here we are learning more in depth what makes all this tech work, function, react and evolve. I hope to intertwine and evolve with this community and i look forward to becoming a blockchain developer and getting more invilved in this space!
