Introduce yourself

Hello Everyone,

My name is Juliano and I am from Montreal, Canada. I have been progressively becoming more entranced with the world of crypto and I am looking to gain the skills necessary to become a developer. I currently work in traditional finance and I know first-hand how ripe that industry (and others) is for disruption. My main goal is to be ‘builder’ and help create Dapps/Smart Contracts and other protocols that would expand the reach of crypto.

Hey everyone,

My name is Jason and I am studying to be a blockchain developer. I currently work in the healthcare field and I see how block chain technology can really help the health industry. I currently work in LIMS Informatics (lab information system) and Health Informatics. So far i have completed C++ and EOS 101.

Hi all,
I’m Eduardo da Silva.
Currently, I live in Vancouver/CA with my wife and son.
I work with distributed database systems for the financial sector.
I’m excited to start this specialization on my career and hopefully build a successful business.

I’m a career changer who started getting into crypto a few months ago. I’ve learned a lot through trial and error, but these courses are what I’ve been looking for to continue learning, especially on the tech side. Happy to be with you all!

Hi,
My name is Dan, I live in Bucharest, Romania :romania:, I am grateful for the opportunity to understand blockchain and learn from all of you.

Although I’m a newbie to this technology, lately I’ve been fantasizing a lot about the beautiful possibilities that this kind of skill-set could bring. My purpose here, in this community of like-minded people, is to develop my know-how, manifest these fantasies, and contribute to building a more purposeful life for those who, at the moment, are a bit lost (me included).

I love sports, nature, my family, and my dream is to build a school.

Thank you, have a great day!

Hi all! Great to be part of this community. My name is Tom and I live in The Netherlands, close to Amsterdam. A father of two, although keeping me awake at times they mean the world to me. In my day to day work I consult businesses on their online payment strategy. Aside, I spend a great deal of time on trading crypto.

The reason for me joining the academy is to get more in-depth (technical) knowledge from the courses and people here on blockchain and cryptocurrencies in general as I do believe a shift in finance is happening. Another thing for me is to get more into automating my trading strategies by using algorithms.

Always happy to connect and to have a chat!

Hi everyone, my name is Guillem.I’m from Valencia Spain.I am now retired after playing online poker 8 years.Wanna learn more about blockchain&crypto in general and hopefully build something in a future.

Hey guys! my name is Tim & I discovered Ivan 2 months ago. I hope this academy helps me on my way to make a living out of crypto!

Hey,
My name is Manuel, I worked in a lot of fields from teaching to mechanic. I love science, sports, music and history. I heard from a good friend about the school and I am so happy to have started the courses…lets see were the future takes us
Good Luck Everybody!

Hi everyone!

My name is Gabe Jolly. I live in the pacific northwest of the United States, in the state of Washington. I only live 15 minutes from Canada!

I work as a CNC machinist making glass products such as shower doors and mirrors. My technical degree is in composites engineering technology, but I am always eager to learn more and learn new things.

I first heard about bitcoin and crypto by watching Bitcoin Ben on rumble. Through his channel he recommended to enroll in Ivan on Tech Academy. For a while now, I have been wanting to get into the crypto/blockchain industry, and now I can. I am hoping to start working on writing articles for and research projects for different companies, but also have a goal to become a blockchain developer. I look forward to hearing from and getting to know you all!

Hey everyone,

I’m Lennart from Belgium. Until recently I studied at the University of Antwerp, but was held back due to courses such as Thermodynamics. Instead I chose to focus more on skills which I’ll benefit from in my chosen line of work. This eventually brought me here.

How do I add the live server plugin to remix?

Hi everyone, nice to meet the rest of the community at Ivan on Tech Academy.

My name is Theo Sebagh. I’m originally from Paris (born and raised there), however, I’ve left France to go to college in the U.S. (undergrad at Wharton/UPenn, class of 2013), before having been lead to repatriate myself back to Europe for family reasons.

After a year and a half back in Paris, I then up and left town again to work in Geneva for 4 years in the banking industry mainly (Investment/Portfolio Management, Private Banking, and a bit of time in Economic Journalism).

Feeling quite bored living in Geneva, I decided to move to London in Dec. 2019 to temporarily work for our family business in cosmetic products in Sales & Marketing, mainly as a means to gain a footing in the UK market before finding a job elsewhere.

As we all know now, COVID struck us all back then, leading to complications on the job market and elsewhere.

Now that things are returning to normal, and having turned 30 recently, I’ve decided to shift my focus entirely on the tech industry (mainly Blockchain technology, Cryptocurrencies, and other areas such as Data Science and Cybersecurity) to shift careers and be a part of our generation’s next biggest wave.

I’ve repeatedly come across Ivan on Tech Academy ads on my social media feeds, indicating that the algorithms had picked it up as a growing interest of mine.

I now finally have the time to dedicate myself entirely to Blockchain and Cryptos and am looking forward to meeting and learning from new people working in this new space.

Some interests of mine include: exercizing (mainly working out at the gym, however any time of sports really from football to basketball, swimming, cycling), Japanese animes/mangas, gripping documentaries or docuseries, cognitive/brain exercises and all the usual stuff (i.e new culinary experiences trying out new restaurants, traveling to new destinations, etc.)

Greetings Everyone,

My name is Miguel. I’m a mechanical engineer that started researching blockchain technology around March 2020. I’m originally from New York, but I was raised in Puerto Rico for most of my life. Now I live in Michigan where I work with intellectual property.

Ever since I started learning about bitcoin and its progeny I’ve come to the realization that it is just a matter of time before the technology scales to the point where global adoption occurs. In fact, the past year and a half has shown unprecedented adoption and growth in the sector, which is evidence that blockchain tech is the future.

I’m excited to join the academy, and I look forward to being part of the group of pioneers that will shape future global societies and economies for the benefit of all.

Hello! :wave:t4:

My name is Dave and I’m from Finland :finland: right next to you @ivan :sweden:!

I just started IT-studies and plan to educate myself here to, well for the “obvious” reason, to “Become a blockchain developer, land a blockchain related job and/or otherwise get full-time income from blockchain related projects and gain enough knowledge to be eventually recognized as an expert of field.”

Because by the time I reach all the goals I will be really ready for making the kind of change that I want to make and see and participate with full potential. But there’s other reasons too:

  • I belive that my purchace of Ivan of Tech Academy Premium provides me more value and helps me get to my career goals faster (+with better results) than expected 3.5years bachelors degree.
(I DO think BSc provides me value tho! :raised_hands:t4::sweat_smile:)

  • I plan on incorporating my Ivan on Tech Blockchain Academy studies into my BSc studies and have Finnish school system recognize and to score them (for my studies).
(I’m curious to see how much value can I get out these studies :face_with_monocle: :smirk:)

I will keep you updated on these!

There is also the fact that I found out about Moralis (!!!) and started learning that and it was actually the finalizing moment when I realized that I totally needed to enroll here!

I have some prior knowledge of programming and took a deep dive into crypto-wormhole around 2 years ago. I’ve watched plenty of @ivan’s videos on Youtube and got alot of info from those among many other great content creators! (Thanks for that, too!)

I’m here to learn and to grow. Also I’m here to network so feel free to contact! :wave:t4:

hello

My name’s Jason and I’m from the UK. I’ve been very interested in changing career for years and at a suggestion (or should I dare say push) I’m learning about the blockchain. I would like to make new friends from the site who can help me with my learning as I personally recognise some of my progress may initially be slow.
