I went to school for digital media and even though I’m not really creative with it, I understand graphics and video work.

Hi guys. My name is Kolby and I work as a traindriver. I have a Bachelor degree in IT-Security and some beginner to mediate knowledge in programming in different programming languages. I also have some work experience as an IT-Security Analyst in a SOC. I love to learn new stuff, especially usefull and cutting edge stuff. I have a sneaking suspicion that blockchain technology is exactly that.
I live in Copenhagen, Denmark. The last 5 years have been dedicated to study and work, but I also like to cook once in a while. I used to work out a lot, but not so much the last couple of years, but I do have a fitness member card 
that must count for something…

Hi, I am Julie I looked into Bitcoin some years ago however, I allowed the opportunity to pass me by. At the time it was around $300 a few months later it was $150 and still I allowed the opportunity to pass by. Well here I am now, I have always been interested and keen to learn technology but hate the way that more recently big tech has used it as a control mechanism. I see blockchain as a means to free people from these control systems and allow freedom for the people to live their lives as they are meant to be lived free. Currently I would say I am interested in using the technology to acquire assets and use those assets to become my own bank.

I would love to get involved in the industry I love so much, Crypto. My background is in sales and marketing but have dabbled in crypto since 2018 when I started studying trading cryptocurrencies. I never went fully time until 2020 when I got laid off of my marketing job and had time to focus on crypto. Since then I have studied on my own. I realized I want to become a part of a community that shares the same passion. So here I am.

Hello guys, My name is Dominic from Malaysia. I manage operation for traditional businesses such as Metal Recycling & Grocery Store. Through out the years I had tried different jobs and non of them spark my interest and makes me stay (From Quantity Surveyor to Interior Designer to Metal Recycler to Subway Franchisee then to a Grocery Store Operation Manager and now jobless). I just couldn’t find the purpose in my life.
The reason why I joined this course is that i wish to jump into this revolutionary industry to help build a better future in terms of financial system. And this revolution enlighten my interest to jump into something completely new to me as I have zero IT skills.
Thank you Ivan for creating courses like this to help more people to understand the unknown, and I get to know about this course from a friend of mine where he used to share a lot of crypto knowledge to me and he still do.

Hi! My name is Alice.
I used to be a graphic designer but I lost my job last year due to covid. I can’t find a decent job (I’m getting too expensive and there are a lot more unemployed designers than there are jobs) so I am making the transition to software developer.
I started with Javascript here at Ivan to see if I liked programming and then made the choice to officially change my profession.
I enrolled in a university level course, recently finished part 1 of 3 (programming in Java). Part 2 (Test management) starts in about a month. In between the parts I’m studying at Ivan almost every day to make good use of my time and learn crypto.
I find crypto a fascinating phenomenon and I want to know it in detail.
As I know little to nothing about programming I made the choice to learn the things most programmers don’t know, to enlarge my chances of finding a job “fast” that earns enough money as a noob to provide for my family.

Hello everyone, its good to be back. I have taken a few other courses through the academy and truly enjoyed them all. Learning about the exciting world of blockchain tech. and crypto is so cool. I live in the eastern U.S. and I am self employed with a wonderful wife and 2 kids serving in the USAF. Exercising, music and traveling are my favorite past times. Had to step away from course learning for several months due to new employment opportunities. Blessings to all.
