Myself CK Roy from Australia. I did my masters in Accounting and professional certifications in Accounting. But I hate Accounting. I drive Uber in Sydney. One day someone told me to invest in safemoon crypto when I had no idea what was I going to do. I put my savings 30k in May 10th of this year when the price was ATH and about to dump market. within 1 month my balance came to 4k. But by that time I got to know about XRP, bitcoin cash and other. but it was too late. I lost my hard earned money. So, I decided that I will be in this industry and for sure. I found this website information from youtube. This academy is very usefull. Today I have just finished my 1st course. So excited to starte the 2nd course tomorrow. Appreciate all guys…

Hey I’m just here to learn a LOT more about everything you have to offer… i intend to build community-empowering tools using blockchain tech, maybe something like those intentional community experiments in the 1800s that tried to use local IOUs, but more effective this time for better restricted resource management (as opposed to using international finance to manage world resources).

Hello, my name is Perry. I am nearly 60 and seeking a new career. I have a passion for blockchain technology and cryptocurrency. I would like to earn an income in this field which means that I must develop new skills - this is why I am here. Additionally, I am a teacher and have been teaching for many years but I do not want to be confined by daily schedules and timetables anymore. Neither do I want to “sell my soul”, as Ivan puts it, for a monthly check anymore. I believe that my value is much higher than my salary and I want to be able to develop my full potential in a field I am more interested in.

Hello all, I’m James. I enjoy music, gardening, tea, and adventure. I am here to learn about blockchain technology and hopefully at least be able to pay off my house with my skills and knowledge. I have some experience running nodes, although my linux skills are minimal. Blockchain is a decentralized technology and its success relies on nodes and validators I think it should be a top priority to make deploying and maintaining nodes as easy as possible so that the industry as a whole can be more resilient. I have created two NFT’s so far one for a wedding using RMRK and the second as a commemoration of the start of my small batch herbal tea business on NEAR. The NFT is just an image right now but as I learn more about how to use NFT’s I will add more utility like access to content and product discounts. Right now using the Near blockchain seems the best for creating NFT’s but I haven’t tried any cross chain functions yet so we will see how good it is at that soon.
The reason I joined the academy is to learn more about blockchains, smart contracts, flash loans, and programming. API’s (Application Programming Interfaces) are the most intriguing piece of tech to me at the moment and so I really hope to be able to get the skills I need to build them so i can make a few apps and possibly dapps. It would be great if the academy had a course on the the basics of Linux.
If/when I make some profits I plan to pay off my house, donate to a socially responsible cause, travel to at least one new destination, do a wardrobe makeover, and of course go out to eat! And that’s my current life situation in three paragraphs.

Hi everyone my name is Piewhip and I have only just started a week ago in the Academy. I hope to work with you all and learn more than the confusing mass of information that can be hard to guide through and understand through secondhand information on the internet. From the courses provided and the community activity that exists here, I know that I will learn so much more than what is normally and expensively provided to me on other education services.
