My name is Jon and I work as a chef in Australia. I am also a dj and music is a big part of my life. Investing in Bitcoin has lead me down the blockchain rabbit hole and the more I have learnt the more I have wanted to get involved. Hoping to work towards starting my own project idea in the future.

Good Evening. I am Wes. I have worked in healthcare revenue cycle (hospital registration, billing, collections, customer service) for the last 19 years. I have bachelors degree in Management Information Systems. I am taking this course to better understand the technology because healthcare revenue cycle processes lack trust and are full of inefficiencies. Blockchain implementation could reduce costs and provide greater access to care for people. I also live in Honolulu, Hawaii and would like to be able to work remotely from this beautiful place.

Hi everyone, my name is Lara, 37, I just starting investing in crypto a month ago with very little money just to test out the waters. I have since become determined to learn as much as I can to better understand blockchain technology. I hope that I can learn enough so that I can switch careers. I currently work doing basic accounting like billing and collections but I have a masters in International Development and I think that blockchain will be the way to help developing countries. Hopefully, I can one day find a job to do both. I currently live in New York which limits what I have access to

Hellooo everyone, I have about a year since I first got into DeFi DApps like UniSwap as I got more into the DeFi space farming on Zilliqa, Harmony, & Sora layer 1 protocols - It’s gotten to the point that I can’t evade that I feel the need to have to learn how to program DApps and be involved with the frequencies that blockchain technology has started - I’m excited about starting my blockchain studies

Hi All! My name is Sue. I have been in health care for a long time and ready to do something new and different. I am really interested in learning how this “blockchain” works. I am starting to dabble in some cryptocurrency and really wanted to know how it all works. I am starting with the basics and perhaps I will move on to be a programmer! Who knows! I find it interesting, just like medicine has its own language, so does this technology. So I am taking it step by step. I love the short videos. Makes it easier to learn. I used to teach in higher education as well and know all the work that goes into teaching! Thanks Ivan for all your knowledge and insight!

Business has been pretty tough with all these restrictions and never want to be a situation again where the government chooses who can or cannot work. Plus it would be cool to work more from home and hopefully anywhere in the world. Looking forward to this new program!

Hi all! So excited to become part of the academic community here. I’m a mechanical engineer in east coast USA. I’ve always been interested in a bit of EVERYTHING, and crypto is no different. It makes it towards the top of my list, right up there with more traditional programming (FORTRAN, C++, VBA), 3D printing (shoutout to Prusa), and Arduino/RaspPi. Not to mention my passion… my actual day job.
I began this journey investing just a little bit around January 2020 (having given up trying in 2016… womp.), then got more and more involved, and now have plenty of altcoins to care for! Hope to gain from these courses a better appreciation for the underlying programming, a humbling look at the big picture, a general deeper understanding of crypto, and everything else I have yet to learn!
