Zup guys! been reading a lot of books on blockchain and trying to figure this out for myself, but it just seemed esier to enroll here and get the basics clean and fast!
My name is Thomas Mönchgesang, 26 years old and I live and work in the Netherlands (Amsterdam).
I currently work as a cyber security consultant in sales and I am doing the academy to go fully crypto as soon as possible. I don’t have any programming experience whatsoever but I have an extreme drive and motivation to make it work and learn it.
My goal is to get a job as a junior blockchain developer and really become a good developer. Eventually working in projects as a project lead sounds very interesting to me. Next to that the idea to work remotely would be a absolute dream come true and I would definitely go to Spain to live in Barcelona or Valencia.
This thought and dream is what makes me set my alarm everyday at 5 am so I can study 2.5 hours before I start my normal job. In the evenings I normally study for about two more hours before going to bed early. This routine gives me so much motivation that I can not think about anything else then crypto, blockchain and development.
For many people the covid-19 pandemic is horrible but for me a big opportunity to absolute hyperfocus on the things I want the most.

The hype in 2017 rekindled my interest in blockchain technology. Now I want to delve deeper into the topic and learn from scratch for a solid foundation. I am currently an entrepreneur and never got a real job out of college. I also always joke I was tricked for 4 years while in college…awaiting that job at the end. I graduated college in 2012.
Our team runs 3 Electronics retail/repair shops in the CPR Cell Phone Repair network. My brother and I oversee & operate a vending/office coffee business. I am passionate about business and like working to solve the problems that occur. I employ a very stoic approach to life and business.
I am excited to be here and learn. I have been very actively in crypto since mid 2017. I have taken a step mentally and am actively looking for something I could realistically do in the crypto space.
