I have been a crypto enthousiast since 2018. I got into it afyer a friend of mine bought a few thousand euros worth of bitcoin in 2015 and sold it in 2018 for 1,2 million.

I always wanted to work in IT and Internet when I was a teenager, that boat left me, but now I feel I have a new chance because of the Ivan on Tech Academy. I’m grateful for that and to meet new people in a fun industry that can make the world a better place 
Greetings all, I’m pleased to be here, with you, and learn more about blockchain and crypto. I’m in IT, server management and engineering, and have heard increasingly more about blockchain and various cryptocurrencies. I read a book or two on it back in 2017, but did not appreciate the potential. After hearing several non-technical friends and family members talking about bitcoin, I figured the technology was likely here to stay. As such, I’m at Ivan on Tech Academy to learn as much as possible. My background is strong in scripting (powershell, bash, python, php) and a bit of programming experience as well (VB .NET, Java, C++).
When I’m not working or learning (also taking MBA courses in a local university) then I’m either spending time with my family (5 kids), at the beach, working out (lifting / running), or having a cigar and something nice to drink.
