Introduce yourself

Continuing the discussion from Introduce yourself:

hi Guys, I’m Sherry from Manchester, UK. I work as an academic at the University. It only came to my mind last summer that there’s something new called blockchain out there. The more I know about it, the more I’m enthusiastic about it. I believe it will be the future, sooner or later. And I hope to be the sort-of-early group in this industry.

Hi! I’m Joanna Garzilli (from London, UK), living in Scottsdale, Arizona, U.S.A. For the past 25 years I’ve been writing, a spiritual success coach, talk show host and I’m proud mom of Dominick (11 years old). I’ve published 3 books: my most notable one published by Harper Collins, “Big Miracles: The 11 Spiritual Rules for Ultimate Success”. In my early twenties, I worked in corporate finance in the City of London and had a dream of being a stock broker working on a trading floor but didn’t have the courage or tenacity to be persistent and complete my Securities and Futures Authority exams. I LOVE the vision of Block Chain. I am fascinated by it. I have gained immense value and spiritual growth in a short time from watching Ivan’s videos on YouTube. I want to be useful in the DeFi space, I’d love to make a valuable contribution with my writing skills as an expert in crypto. I want to overcome my fear of not being able to code. I am absolutely outside of my comfort zone as a beginner and I know this is very good for me. I have a small crypto investment portfolio that is performing well and I want to understand TA deeply. I am very inspired by the community who has taken action already. I look forward to studying and implementing what I learn here.

Hello everyone,
I’m Ribena from HK and excited to know more about Blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies.
I’m working full time job as a designer. I look forward to working with this community.

Cheers!

Hello everyone. My name Is Petr. I am from cold Russia. Currently i am working as a software developer. I touched crypto first time in 2017. I got some money and the lost 90 percent of my holdings due to price went down. After that i considered crypto as a scam. But recently i looked at it with my programming experience which i have got during past 4 years since 2018. And you now what? I am extremely excited! It is a next big thing i suppose. So now i am intended to go FULL TIME CRYPTO.

Hi My name is Tatiana,

Hello All,

My name is Jose Palacios. I am from Los Angeles, California. The place I live in is called Canyon Country. I am an American Sign Language Interpreter. I have been doing this work for the last 15 years. It is a great profession, because it exposes me to all walks of life. It actually exposed me to Bitcoin in the early 2010’s but I did not understand the magnitude of its impact on a global level.

My life involves my daughters, my dogs, and I train, love, and live Jiu-jitsu. Those are the things I value. I feel getting involved in blockchain tech will allow me to continue to cultivate the humble lifestyle I imagine for myself and my family.

I began trying to learn about blockchain just before the last boom in 2017. I tried learning by reading a book but it didn’t really help. I was investing with the trends but was not making smart decisions. I finally researched Chainlink, and bought some in June of 2019 feeling confident that it was a functional lasting coin. After that point, I just HODL all I had and just watched the market. Fortunately, my assumption paid off. After the covid dump, I noticed things just got better and better. I have been fortune enough to double my money, which may not seem like a lot for many of you, but for the novice, 5 figures feels like progress.

I have only been playing with coinbase and using my capital conservatively, but it convinced me that learning as much about blockchain and smart contracts was the best approach to knowing were to invest my time and money. Now, I here hoping to find some purpose in this next half of my life.

Hey!

My name is Cesar and I’ve been involved in crypto since 2017. I am a real estate investor and I’m interested in becoming a Blockchain consultant.

I’m also interested in exploring the concept of certifying titles of physical property/assets on the blockchain and transferring them. Like selling the house and transferring the title and deed of the home.

The more I learn about NFT’s, the more I feel like a title of a home can be digitized, electronically verified via imaging software, and then tokenized as an NFT. All you would need is API access that allows you to do title search per locale. And verifying that the title of property is free and clear.

This project could even become decentralized and open source. It would take so many uploads of physical title documents per locale and their variations, that people from anywhere in the world should be incentivized in uploading their own title of property and digitally certifying it on the blockchain.

Hi everyone!

Pleasure to meet you.

My goal is to first just gain a fluency with blockchain, how it works, the terminology, DeFi and just a strong broad understanding. I don’t have a programming background and not sure I will be diving too deep into programming, but I do want to at least get a basic understanding of that aspect as I know it is important to understanding this technology and being able to communicate with those who are involved.

My longer term goals are to become involved in this industry by bringing my skills and experience as a communicator with a strong public relations and digital marketing background. I don’t exactly know I will fit into this industry, I just know that I am strongly called to it and becoming quite passionate about the implications of blockchain for the long term well being of the human race.

That’s me in a nutshell.

Looking forward to getting to know some of you and wishing you all an excellent journey in blockchain.

Hello! My name is Jaakko, I live in Espoo, Finland. At the moment I split my time between full-time work and business studies. A couple of months ago I didn’t have a clue about crypto, only thing I knew was basically the name of Bitcoin. I started investing in crypto with some tiny amounts, but what really got me hooked was the technical and business use case side of decentralisation and blockchain.

Really looking forward for learning blockchain and being part of the community!

Evening all…Jason here, from London, England.

Bit the bullet and signed up to the academy as I have been spending a large amount of time immersing myself in crypto content trying to learn technology and keep up with real world implications but could really benefit with some guidence/direction and structure.

For work I programme financial applications using in an IBM application, its quite niche.
Otherwise I’m pretty active gym and bouldering

Look forward to working with you all.
