My name is Bryan and I live in Merida, Mexico although I’m originally from Atlanta, Georgia. I have been learning tons about crypto this past year and with the academy I would like to continue learning, especially about DeFi and blockchain-centered programming. I would love to build some projects and maybe start or work on a new venture. My background is in engineering and I also have experience working in a startup doing sales and IT work. Currently I teach English online, trade and study. In my free time I like to play guitar, work out and travel.

My new is Evo. I am software developer with about 20 years of experience and I started diving into the blockchain space about 2.5 years ago when I did a course at B9Lab. I was blown away by the content and by the level of the instructors. I hope to find this here as well, and hope the part of this thriving community. Furthermore, I like chess, so we might catch up on some online chess site and I also like learning (natural) languages.
I am here to further my knowledge about smart contract programming and also get some knowledge about bitcoin internal and cryptography. I think that I could acquire that knowledge on my own, but I think to be part of a community is appealing to me and I am looking forward to interacting with everybody here.

Welcome to the academy. I live in VA. I have been in sales (insurance most recently) for majority of my career but I want to reinvent myself and use my finance/insurance experience and hopefully get on the Defi train. Enjoying the course work so far. This crypto thing is really exciting.

I am Alex from France, I live in Japan now.
I am here to learn more about Crypto. I am here to see if I can change my career and get real money. Wealth cannot be built by working standard hours dictated by the 1%
I studied industrial engineering and I heard first about bitcoin at the end of 2011 from my IT classmate but we did not understand the potential of BTC from the white paper. And AS student we did not really have money to spend in cheap BTC without real usage at that time.
I was thinking to buy 400 BTC at that time but it was one month rent. Regrets ? yes, but I think I would have loss the hard drive or the password after 10 years.
In 2017 got some regrets about not buying BTC, but I still did not buy.
In 2020, I got trouble to move my own money between my accounts from different bank and country. So I got started again in crypto as a way to transfer money.
I am living in Japan, selling JDM cars for export. Quite far from my master in industrial engineering. I am trying now to find a way to get back into engineering. Maybe it will be as a crypto dev.

I am looking to learn TA and am quite literally a Dino when it comes to tech… I usually ask my 8yr old to sort most electronic items in the house.
I have been in crypto since 2018 but only really taking it seriously this past 12 months.
