How are you finding the academy so far? I am doing the Javascript intro course and it is pretty tricky as I’ve never coded before.
I agree it’s good to see some women into crypto. 
I read your intro and I am similarly disenchanted with big tech. Blockchain gives me hope for the future. Here’s to new adventures

To answer your question, I’m barely starting, bitcoin and blockchain 101; I have never been that much into tech, so we’ll see how this goes.
What are your goals with taking this course, if I may ask?

I am just interested, I guess! Plus when both the boys are napping I have some time on my hands, so I think, I may as well try my hand at something new! 
I did a few very basic courses on bitcoin and blockchain through edx last year, and wanted a more in-depth understanding of how it all works, and here I am! I will DM you, we can provide moral support for each other

I’ve always wanted to learn code, but never really found a purpose for it, so here I am, super excited by all the potential applications that the blockchain offers.

Hi all, Greetings
i am new to the academy joined yesterday. For some time i have been intrigued and wanted to learn about the block chain and the technology and application projects that is related to it ( including those just being launched and likely to evolve).
I became aware of it the first time a few years ago when Bitcoin hit the news and did not pursue it then. My curiosity grew more this time and after seeing a few videos realized there is a lot that i do not understand.
I come from an IT background.
I am pursuing this academy to get the most out of it especially on how one can identify the hidden gems among all the coins traded and also how to analyse the different projects and identify the ones likely to make a big move.
I also want to understand the mechanics and familiarize with the concepts, the different crypto exchanges available, and how people deal.
I now have lots free time, hence my enrollment into this academy to be knowledgeable and to not to be left behind.

My name is Jason. I’m a Serial Entrepreneur at heart. I am insatiably curious and love learning new things…I don’t understand the meaning of being bored because pretty much every thing and every person is interesting if you look through the right lens!
I’ve been following Bitcoin and cryptocurrency peripherally for years now. I invested a little in 2017 but was late to the party at the end of the Bull Run. I kept the coins and have been checking on them occasionally over the last couple years. I started noticing some action last Summer and it re-ignited my curiosity. I started reading and watching videos on Youtube and I came across Ivan’s channel. I love his teaching style and his passion and decided to sign up for the Academy.
I am hoping to make a little extra cash during this Bull Run, but I am even more intrigued by the amazing technology of the Blockchain and I have a million ideas for projects that I would like to see built for my own businesses and industry but more importantly to take back Freedom for the world! I’m super excited to learn and to meet and collaborate with other like-minded people!
Hello everyone my name is Michael Angelo I am a maintenance man in Alabama! This year I was introduced to crypto through The Tor browser as like spending time on the dark web. But in order to buy anything at all I saw you needed to have bitcoin! This peaked my interest and I dove right in! Some history I’ve been a techie since 1995 when I got my first Packard Bell computer. it had windows 3.11 Dos 6.0 with shell! 2 Megs of Ram, 450 Meg hdd and my whole heart. I was hooked on computers from that point on! When games were 8bit or 16bit and we all played DOOM like Minecraft but on our keyboards. The internet was in diapers And apple was taking dumps. I remember thinking this internet thing could be huge as I entered all text chat rooms. Then the dot com crash came and I missed out on the explosion because I was in the US ARMY working for the UN IN MACEDONIA, BOSNIA and the Swedish nordbat in Hungary. so I missed out on a lot those days. Im older now and have fallen in love with crypto since cofefe started. Thanks to crypto casey introducing me to Ivan on Tech I’ve decided to go all in boomer style! Ive been out if the game for a while but My hope is its kine riding a bike with Elon upgrades! I dont want to miss the train again! I look forward to getting to know you guys helping if i can but mainly learning and soaking it all in as well as an old dog with an open mind can! We need decentralization for humanity’s sake. Lets shake up the centralized power structure of this present world, redistribute that power to all people And maybe make some living wages along the way! Blockchain and crypto are the new digital frontier. Im all in!

Great to be here Ivan! I have pretty much no experience with programming. But every fiber in my body tells me this is the industry I want to be in. My previous experiences are many but scattered. Had an interesting life so far.
I do like what you said about building…as opposed to trading Im thinking, nothing wrong there…but the older you get, the more you really want to contribute and build something. I have high expectations, this will be a great trip I am sure! Lets do it, a little nervous but that’s normal. Take care, God bless, hope to meet you one of these days./Henke

I am a guitar player and lead vocalist in a local band, I enjoy working with my hands, fixing cars, home improvement projects, fishing, downhill skiing, and spending time with my wife and our 16 year old son.
