Hi I’m Mark from Maryland. Teacher/Janitor/Mechanic/inventor/entrepreneur/etc
I sought out the best advice for next industry developing for my investment strategy and “Blockchain” kept popping up as the absolute need to be in space.
I Knew nothing about it, so I spent the next several months learning the best/cheapest ways to buy bitcoin and what the heck are altcoins, etc and finally… here I am today. YAY! I DID IT!!

Now that I’m investing in crypto since 01 December, I doubled my investments in less than two months and am teaching all the mechanics and others: What is Bitcoin? What is Ethereum and why it matters!
Loving the crypto space and I want to teach others as well as prosper in many new ways. Cheers to all. :slight_smile:

Hello everyone, I’m Jake from Bournemouth, England and yes I also missed “catabaya” in the @discobot tutorial🙄
I work on Superyachts as a deckhand around the Mediterranean, mainly Monaco and got into crypto around June/July time through a friend who owns a few bitcoin.
I’ve been teaching myself for the last 6 months and trying to amass as much crypto knowledge as possible, mainly for the pumpamentals with technical analysis and crypto news. But this has been a struggle trying to keep up and still can’t even tell someone what a blockchain is after googling it 10 times lol.
I like to help people out as much as possible as I recieved the same guidance whilst starting out too. Mainly looking forward to increasing knowledge in this revolutionary industry and who knows what could come of it :rocket::man_shrugging::nerd_face:

Hello all… Excited to get started here. My name is Douglas and I’m from Toronto, Canada. I started out as a programmer in the late 90s through Y2K and into the early 2000s. Started with COBOL/JCL and SQL, and moved into C+ a little, but mostly Javascript, HTML and Powerbuilder. Moved more into the graphics side with web design and then walked away. Four careers later and Blockchain/Crypto has me excited about tech again!

In my free time I run and cycle… Aiming for an Ironman and an Ultra 100 mile run. My longest run so far is 50 km. Other than that, music and my two kids and girlfriend take up the rest of my time. I’m currently full-time condominium manager, for work, which takes too much time out of my schedule, so time to get into Blockchain fulltime.

Hope to get to know some of you here on the journey… And thanks to Ivan for this great forum and program!

Hi Everyone! My name is Marty and I’m in the US. I also just joined via the full professional course package. I started taking an interest in cryptocurrency about a year and a half ago but didn’t keep up with it much, and wish I had. I believe this is was because I didn’t take some time to understand the benefits of blockchain technology and had too many other life events taking place at the time. I’ve since started learning more and am super excited to continue learning through a structured program and actually put the knowledge to use myself.

I also have interests in real estate and would like to work towards moving real estate transactions to the blockchain to improve the process and better secure titles. I feel this would be a great direction to satisfy my interests in both technology and real estate, while helping move an industry forward.

Hi, my name is Denis, but you can call me crypto-djent76. I am from London, UK. I am just starting in the game of blockchain through the youtube videos of IvanOnTech, The Moon and Bitboy Crypto. I love the energy of the tech community, but also the freedom of where you can work and the wages you can earn. I used to drum in a couple of bands around 2010 (all non-starters unfortunately), but it increased my love for music.

I hope to combine my love of music (metal and sub-genres of metal) with tech as a full-time job.

What is up all you beautiful crypto characters and caricatures?! I’m Matteo, some call me Krubz, from San Diego, CA.
I was one of the many out there who thought the ship had sailed for me on bitcoin when I’d learned a bit about it from an an early adopter in late 2011. Currently I’m a partner in a small business offering eco friendly house cleaning to the greater San Diego area with the love of my life and soon to be mother of our babygirl :baby: due in early March.

Recently I was given a boon from a friend who trades crypto daily and decided that now was the time to pivot and truly learn something new. Started following everyone I can on Youtube and Ivan was the first I subscribed to that really inspired me and got me fired up in the morning. Better late than never, but never late for dinner! Me here -
I am currently working as an IT Support Engineer and I really would love to spend some more time with my family being able to work geographically from anywhere. I always loved the crypto history and the purpose behind it !! My plan is to go full time crypto as quick as I can, and maybe in the future who knows if I can find some type of solution to contribute with the humanity. In the meantime I am working 8-5, mon-fri, but cannot wait to leave this place, I am in now…The only thing that scares me is the programming as I know it takes ages to gain experience to be able to actually write something. Anyone going through similar experience ? Happy to talk. I am starting studying 10 hrs per week. I love to play with drones FPV, play video games, scuba dive, nature lover, plants, outdoors, cars, futuristic ideas and impact in the next gen society.
