Hi there! My name is Grace and I live in Seattle. I work in the retail industry as an IT analyst in the finance space, but I also have 15+ years of experience as a data professional (DBA, data modeler, BI reporting). I became interested in blockchain after attending the 2020 EY Global Summit where they announced the launch of Baseline. That was my first introduction to DeFi and crypto currencies. I wanted to learn more and and that’s when I found Ivan’s videos on YouTube. So far I’ve been dabbling in crypto as an investor but now I’m ready to start learning more about the technology itself. I’m super excited to be a part of this amazing community!

Hi everyone. I’m new to the forum and just signed up… let me tell you why
- I am positioning myself to go full time crypto in 2027.
- The price for membership was incredible
- Blockchain is about to explode and I want to be in demand and available to add value to my community.
- I am seeking new ways to add active income streams so i can invest fiat and make passive income while working from home with my family.
My overall goal is to have a successful blockchain / crypto consulting business in the future, but the longest journey begins with the first step, so here I am.

Hi there Ivan and everyone here, I am Joemar from the USA. A little bit about me, I am currently a Firefighter of 15 years. I also was a Supervisor at our local Post Office and worked at the state House in Boston, Massachusetts as a Legislative Aide.
I am here to learn about blockchain and cryptocurrency. I believe this is the future and many opportunities to come with it. My family and friends think I am crazy, only because they do not understand Blockchain yet. That is what I hope to change once I learn more. I also hope that in the future I can land a part time job in the field and then possibly go full time.
When I am not working, I enjoy riding my motorcycles, volunteering at my dog rescue, visiting new breweries, taking my dogs for walks, watching Ivan on YouTube or others. I have many hobbies I enjoy.
I look forward to this new journey and a bit nervous to be honest. I am not computer savvy at all, But I am eager to learn. I know this might be a slow process for me and I am ok with that. I do apologize upfront if I ask too many questions, which I can foresee happening.
I’d like to thank Ivan and his team for putting this Academy together for all. May we all benefit from acquiring more knowledge in our passion of blockchain.

Hello! My name is Morgan, I live in Northern California, USA and I want to GTFO! My daily routine consists of waking up with my kids, making breakfast, having coffee with Emily (partner in crime) and listening to Ivan on Tech, then other news. After that we go outside for a few hours before coming home for lunch - then lessons, music and art before dinner and a movie before bed. I used to work for the postal service and because of unforeseen circumstances am now unemployed and ready to take the plunge into full-time crypto!
I am extremely enthusiastic about starting this academy. I want to know everything there is to learn. I am BULLISH on everything crypto - it is the way of the future. I will devour every aspect of this academy with a ravenous appetite.
Other than that I love music, hiking, cooking, and will get into some video gaming every now and again late at night when the fam is asleep.

Hello! My name is :Per-Kristian, I have been interested in crypto since early 2015. For the last 5 years i have been working on completing my Judge Masters Program with focus on contracts. I would like to bridge the world of contracts as the legal system, world wide, is seriously flawed/corrupted and needs correction. I have many ideas for user cases, but lack programming skills and likeminded friends who are programmers/developers etc. I was born in Norway, but live in Bangkok. I would like to go all in on the crypto space. I am also looking for good programmers who would like to develop applications/platforms for trade/commerce/communication from a legal perspective or already existing projects that would benefit from my skills and knowledge on contract law. @ivan Great show and great initiative. My name is Trevor and I am excited about this particular course. I recently took and completed the new course “Baseline Protocol & Unibright”, which I really enjoyed, BUT was a little lost on some of the material within that course. I think this would be a great prerequisite course, so my intent is to complete this course and then retake that course. Ruud was a great instructor so if you haven’t taken that course definitely check it out.
So grateful to have found IVAN on TECH Academy and embark on my second career in life.

I want to also give you feed back on the feature that assigns a numeric figure to your progression through the different courses you complete, The Leaderboard. I think this is a fantastic feature to motivate people to keep up the momentum. I find myself thinking that I need to log into the Academy and watch a few lectures in order to gain additional progression points.
