Starting the Defi101 course and realized that I never came to hang out by the water cooler and introduce myself until Amadeo reminded me to get active in the forum.

I’m from Milwaukee, WI (USA) and was exposed to BTC back in 2016. I stopped in to the closest Barnes and Noble store to pick up whatever they had on Bitcoin/Blockchain. I was hooked and a part of me thought that maybe it was the gov’t trying to push their world currency on us all by developing Satoshi and figured I might as well play along, lol.

Diving into the course to take a different path and start a new career that can be done remotely.

Appreciate the time Ivan and the team @IOT have taken to develop this course

I’m Raul from Peru and looking to contribute to the crypto space in the medium term.
I was involved in crypto around 2014, bitcoin primarily as a software engineer. Then I switched to a big tech company and stopped looking at the space, except for Cardano which I really love. However, in 2020, crypto caught my eye again and while I missed a lot during the past years. I’m getting caught up with the industry by reading some whitepapers and learning from the courses in this Academy.

Looking to meet you, folks, on the different courses and share experiences, ideas, and maybe why not collaborate on any interesting projects.

A little about myself… I am 55 yrs old, currently the Executive Chef at Tennova North Medical center in Knoxville TN. I work for Compass Group , the largest food production manager company in the world.

I went to school at Penn State, have worked at Disney and Caesar’s Palace amongst other places. Somewhat computer savvy.

Been in crypto since mid 2017, investing , trading, charting and publish on trading view under CHEFRUSTY…Ive played with some C++ , Json files editing Crypto Gnome’s trading bots, but bits aren’t the best in a bear market. So…

I have a few ideas for Dapps that I could either stay and sell to Compass or put out to the free market working with food safety, might even present to Origin Trail, so I need to learn how to fully develope Dapps…front and back, start my own company

For security, I have thought of working for a large corporation such as IBM or Coke with Unibright… so need to learn Baselines protocol. CHAIN LINK even has an adverb on Glass Door. Working remotely is also my plan. Could travel to an office as needed to present projects and works.

Bottom line is I want to learn as much as possible, as fast as I can absorb it, while working my current job.

I started Bitcoin 101 even though I am familiar, I figured best to start at the beginning…

I’m sure I’ll be bugging you as time goes on… I’m laid back, have fun, but am serious about my goals.

Hello Friends!

My name is Jesse Garside. I hail from Ontario, Canada and I am here to learn how I can make Blockchain and Crypto my full-time job.

I am 31 years old, I love sports, gaming and learning about new tech. I am currently living in Germany with my Fiancee who I love very much.

I have been immersed in the Crypto/Blockchain world since Feb. this year. I have a little bit of experience spot trading and a bit in futures. I love learning about what this tech will be able to do for us in the future once it is adopted by the masses.

I do not have any skills in coding but I plan to learn. My twitter handle is @1cryptosherlock.

My previous job was working for Toyota Manufacturing as a Team Leading in paint shop. I was able to learn XYZ axis parameter adjustments for Kawasaki Robots and I had a Team of 8 members I trained and was responsible for their progress in the paint shop. I quit my job as the hours were affecting my home life and the work had become unfulfilling.

I am here to learn and meet great people!

Gaelaxy here. I am 65 and retired. I was a clothing designer and internet entrepreneur and a graphic artist professionally and for fun I am an artist and historical recreationist. I also like to travel. I’m Corona bored so I’ve been looking into crypto and following Ivan on Tech among others for about a month. I realized I didn’t want to dabble anymore. I wanted a mentor, a guide, a sherpa, if you will, when I found this academy and I thought it sounded like just what I was looking for.
