I’m Austin, I’m live in the US and am an industrial and systems engineer. Over the last year and a half I have been striving toward switching careers into IT and becoming a software developer.
I knew about Bitcoin back in my first few years at college around 2013 or so, but sadly didn’t have enough information or knew much about it to compel me to invest and learn more about it. More recently after a coworker of mine told me he was investing in crypto it reminded me of college and I started looking more into it and eventually found Ivan’s YouTube channel! I have learned a lot very quickly and am enjoying going through his blockchain developer courses.
My goal is to finish all the courses for a software developer and to hopefully land a job in the blockchain space, I’m hoping Ivan’s courses will help set me apart. I’m looking forward to learning more, growing as a software developer and riding the Bitcoin and Ethereum rocket ship to the moon! haha

My name is Rob. I am from Boston, Massachusetts. I am a Poker Dealer at Encore Boston Harbor, a beautiful Wynn Resorts property. Unfortunately due to Covid, the casino has yet to reopened many of it’s gaming options. This includes the poker room. I love my job and hope to return soon, however I love BTC and cryptocurrencies as well!!
I thought this time off would be a tremendous opportunity to dive deeper into my passion for crypto and maybe even develop the skills required to have a successful career in the industry. I first read about Bitcoin in the Tom Clancy novel Threat Vector in December of 2012. I remember being fascinated by the concept of digital currency and the enormity of being an early adopter if the currency ever took hold. I remember researching BTC and being horrified that I had missed my opportunity, thinking “I’m too late!!” The price was $13. LMAO. If I only knew. 
Luckily, I revisited Bitcoin in late 2015 and early 2016. To me, a major step in my personal growth was finally buying Bitcoin. Having the confidence to invest leading into the 2017 bull run paid off for me. I was able to quit my corporate office job that I hated, I traveled most of 2018 and I then followed another passion becoming a poker dealer in 2019.
In addition to cryptocurrencies and poker, I enjoy working out at the gym, traveling and dining at restaurants. I look forward to contributing to the Ivan On Tech community, making friends/connections and increasing my understanding of blockchain. If I can offer anybody support or if anyone is visiting the Boston/New England area, please reach out.

Been fascinated by blockchain technology and I’ve never been the same ever since I came across cryptocurrency. I decided to take a step further in my cryptocurrency education by enrolling in this course. Not only do I want to invest in the best potential projects in cryptocurrency but I’ve made it a goal to have a career involved in cryptocurrency…I actually just got off a zoom call with my best friend, teaching him how to buy, sell and secure crypto the right way!
