Hey! My name is Pontus and i am a 26 year old guy from a small town in Dalarna, Sweden. 
My interest in the world of crypto actually began in the beginning of 2018 as a small scale mining “venture” together with a couple of friends to the family. The mining didn’t work out for long for me though, i was too busy and there was too much to deal with since i was recovering from a relapse - i’m a recovering addict and sober alcoholic. Been clean and sober since 15/09-2017.
Anyway, the mining and crypto interest i had in 2018 led me to Mike Maloney’s channel on youtube (which i really recommend checking out) - and i am really thankful for that channel and all the work and resarch he has put into educating people about the monetary system and the history of money and currency - cause when corona really hit the world, all i could think of was what i had learnt watching his videos in 2018, and i felt the impending doom of and death of the current monetary system. 
So i have since april done all i can to educate and prepare myself, as well as investing all i can - both my time and what little money i can spare.
I really want to opt-out of the current FIAT system and put my time and effort into the world of blockchain and be a part of the new web3 and the crypto revolution. I have gathered my longtime “meatspace”-friends in a new discord channel where we discuss all things crypto and programming and i have really started to get going learning JavaScript. I actually wrote my first program a few days ago after only (but thoroughly) reading the first one and a half chapter of Eloquent JavaScript which is really great. In my program i solve the first problem at Project Euler (https://projecteuler.net/) and made a program that successfully takes any number that you give to it and produces the sum of all the natural numbers that are multiples of 3 and 5 It’t might seem small to someone else but i was overjoyed to be able to figure that out all by myself using what i had learnt. No cheating!
Anyway, i’m happy to be here and i really would not mind to make some new friends in this community.

Hi all, my name is Marlon. I first ventured into crypto back in 2012 for a brief moment, bought some bitcoins and since lost the keys didnt really understand it properly back then…heyho you live and learn.
since the lockdown decided to do something been wanting to do for a while, so started learning Python language at the same time got stuck back into crypto and stumbled across the mighty Ivan.
i’m ready to get stuck in and learn as much as poss.

I first entered crypto during the 2017 bull market (at around 9k per BTC), & have loved the space since!
I am hoping to learn programming to be able to get a good paying job in blockchain. I have very little experience with programming but I hope I can learn! Can’t wait to meet more people that were where I am now & find out how they were able to learn!

Hi David here, I bought my first crypto in march 2020 and I’ve really enjoying following everything in the space and want to go deeper into the technology. I’m 38 yrs old from Ireland, my job is driving coaches and I would like to be able to go for a job in blockchain development maybe before an AI replaces me in my current job?

When I was young, I was really scared of money in a way. Investing was in another world. I can now see that the system is designed to keep us ignorant and placid, allowing the Fed to manipulate without interference. I feel like I’m a bit of a rebel like in the American Revolutionary War. Strong words for me but I’m hoping freedom and liberty are spreading with this technology!
