I do believe this is the next wave in a big way, and am feeling more and more that I need to participate in one way or another. I’ve always been into computers and tech, but have 0 programming experience.

I’m Anna, a Kiwi living in London for a long time. I work as an application owner, so act as a bridge between business and technical needs within a digital content team for marketing and also worked in news. I have gained some great experience and skills over the years and would really love to put them to good use in an area that benefits people - particularly the unbanked, but also health and I have a strong interest in medicinal herbal remedies; I hope to learn more about my own indigenous culture through them and may even be able to use blockchain to this end!
I have followed blockchain since 2013 but there are many gaps in my knowledge and this course looks like it will help to fill those. Nice to meet you all!

Me too Cryptojuice - in 2013 images of capital controls in Cyprus were in the news, which prompted me to type into Google ‘alternative to currency?’ and I don’t need to tell you what the result was.
That very random idea sparked a slight obsession that’s still with me now and will no doubt continue my entire life.

My name is Nigel, an Australian living in the USA. I started getting interested in Bitcoin when my family members were telling my it was a scam like the tulip mania a couple of years ago. I read the Bitcoin Standard and Andreas’s books as well as the Creature from Jeykll Island and crypto started making more sense than fiat. So I started to DCA in and have become progressively more interested in the space. Its been 30 years since I was at university so memories of programing are well faded. Just trying to get better educated to make sure I am not a late adopter or laggard in what I hope to be a fantastic innovation. I hope to learn along side you all and help others with adoption.

Hello,
I am most reluctantly retired, from a long career in the IT business. I have worked as a Consultant all my life and have filled many roles; coding, database programming, testing, system architecture, sales, line management and (international) project management.
I have always worked to live, rather live to work, in spite of always putting in more working hours than I probably should. I take responsibility and deliver 
But my passion is endurance sports, such as running, cycling, triathlon, and x-country skiing, however this has always taken second seat to working. Anyway, this lifestyle has helped secure a good health and I can see myself working a second career as a blockchain developer. Time will show.

I live in Norway, but spend a lot of time in Ecuador as well as visiting other countries.

Hey my name is Bryan, born and raised in Toronto! I’m a foodie entrepreneur who started a food truck business in 2014, and opened a restaurant in 2016. I’ve been trading/HODLing BTC and various altcoins over the past 3 years, and I finally joined Ivan’s Academy to further my knowledge in this space.
