Greetings to you Ivan and to rest of the community!

I am Paul and I am a freelance consultant, currently acting as a Solutions Architect in Telecommunication industry. Since early days I have been attracted by new technologies and innovations. Blockchain is one of the hot topics I would like to understand deeper.

Currently living in Luxembourg. The aim here is to accumulate knowledge, networking and growing into crypto space. I.hope to learn from studying with the academy and hopefully I can give something back to the community soon.

Greeting to everyone apart of the team and to the community,

I live in South Africa and I’m a first year student in the aircraft industry. I am studying to become an Avionic, but would like to open my door to different career paths. I am interested in becoming a blockchain developer and although I consider myself relatively tech savvy, I have no idea how to program/code…

I am excited to change that with the courses in the academy, as well as the knowledge and experience this community has.

Do you really think there is something new (up to date) out there ?
Basically the known programming paradigms used today are all invented in the 70s.
Sure we have new languages (and old ones evolving), but basically these are changes to make it easier to express thse paradigms in a more compact way.

My name is Roger Palomino, I am from NY. I am a part time math adjunct lecturer working at City University of New York (CUNY). I want to help spread the word of crypto currency and blockchain technology to everyone I know. Eventually, I would like to have an online school of my own and educate others about this. Student at Chalmers university of technology in Gothenburg Sweden. Studying for a Master of Science in Engineering. Specialize in Mathematics and did my bachelor in programming an agent to utilize an artificial neural network to learn playing Starcraft 2 (with only basic commands available).

Love training, gaming, card games and music.

I found out about Ivan’s tech academy through YouTube and I am looking forward to using the resources given to me in the pursuit of a potential carrier in crypto, whatever that may entail.
I have zero coding experience so that is priority number one for me here, but I understand that crypto and blockchains are the way to the future, and I hope to be apart of the ever expanding web of professionals and dedicated individuals such as you all!

Hi y’all, my name is Christopher and I joined the academy just this week! After more than 10 years as a software developer, focussing mainly on building corporate websites and web applications, I feel this is the right time to learn something new and exciting. Similar as the Web 2.0 was exciting to explore and be a part of ten years ago.

I live in Berlin, Germany :de: and am always looking for like minded developers to collaborate or hang out with. Other than software development, I enjoy sports, such as high intensity interval training (HIIT) and climbing. I am also a vegan and always enjoy finding new places to eat out.

But i want to diversify in learning new technology and am really interested in learning more about blockchain development because am aware that crytocurrency is the future…

When my Sinclair computer turned out to be too slow to solve certain problem, I resorted to writing programs in machine code (initially without an assembler program and actually putting numbers into addresses) and, yes, you are right, nothing has changed at all at the 01 CPU level. But when it comes to visual C++, for example, you actually have to know what’s in that giant visual library and that’s where it gets annoying. I preferred the 01 simplicity of my Sinclair 48K stone age machine.

Hello! My name is Rodrigo Ortega (28), currently living in Texas, USA. I am excited to join this community of like-minded individuals. I have been lurking for a while and finally decided to jump on board.

I am here to learn the most I can about various blockchain applications, especially as it relates to finance, gaming and disrupting existing industries in general. I have a background in traditional finance as a former Credit Analyst/Underwriter for JPMorgan Chase. I first heard about bitcoin in 2013, but didn’t jump down the rabbit hole until 2018.

I believe cryptocurrencies and smart-contract platforms have the potential to change the world in ways we cannot even imagine yet. I am excited to see where it all goes from here. Cheers!
