My name is Ian and for the last 9 years I have operated as a business broker, selling mainly industrial related businesses in my home town, Tauranga, New Zealand, however over the last couple of months through the national lock down period, I decided it was time for a change. I also have my own online supplement company, which is growing nicely and provides good cashflow.
At 54, I consider myself a late starter and my experience in the crypto world, up until now, has been limited, but the lock down gave me the time to watch more youtube videos and become more interested. As of writing, I have a few small positions in BTC, ETH, LINK and XRP, but I am looking to learn everything I can in this exciting space and create a substantial crypto portfolio.
I am grateful to live in a nice part of the world, close to the beach and enjoy an active outdoor lifestyle.

My name is Chamel and I would like to thank Ivan and his team for the great opportunity they are presenting us with by creating and managing this academy. I started to gain interest in crypto (still skeptical about until recently) and blockchain during my BA degree, when I understood how corrupted our monetary and financial system is.
More recently, with the current health crisis, I decided to dive in as I realised the FIAT system was coming to an end sooner than I thought. I saw crypto and particularly Bitcoin at first, as THE immediate solution to the devaluation of FIAT currency. That is when I decided I wanted to be part of the blockchain journey which I think is a technology that has the potential to make this world fairer for everyone.

After reading rich dad poor dad I learned that I need to build cash flow assets in order to have freedom. I am brand new to blockchain, cryptocurrencies, bitcoin etc. With what is going on these days I started to look into these ideas a few weeks ago and I realize I need help!!! Help understanding currency so I can be wise with my finances. With the fed bailing everyone out with an endless stream of money, which is just printing debt out of thin air, I finally began to take notice. I am a bit overwhelmed with with these ideas as I don’t have a background in technology, computers, programming etc.
I am a complete novice, yet I see the writing on the wall and want to learn as much as I am capable of. This seems like a great opportunity to perhaps take part in a true revolution and I want in!
the financial system we are in is corrupt, in the past I was content to just live my life and go on my way, now collapse seems inevitable in some form or fashion and I would really like to contribute to the freedom of mankind and opt out of the old money system.
I live in Southern California, I love the outdoors and am also interested in learning how to bacpack and travel the world when it opens back up, hopefully sooner than later.
