hi all
i am from Switzerland and have a hard-forked job experience :smile:
my origins are in IT, where i have all kind of experience (programming, 1st and 2nd level support, documentation, sw-introduction etc). I have never considered myself a good coder, though
also i worked as a journalist about IT and other themes during many years for different papers over here.

those 2 knowledges combined helped me lately to get some translations done for a couple of blockchain projects (english-german)

finished my first course here just now, and quite liked how much one proceeds with knowledge to gain a good base for more.

yes, there is a relation to Sweden. Like to go there for holidays in the nature and on the canoe. should say, i love it - and hope, one day to retire in a small torp at the water …och Räkna älgar som går förbi :grin:

Hi Guys! I’m giving Ivan On Tech Academy a Trial run. I first jumped into bitcoin around 2015 or so. I didn’t fully understand the concept. Eventually I saw Ivan on youtube before he had his fancy studio! I often went to his channel to learn about alt coins as he was able to describe them so clearly.

I have played with bitcoin before but now I am more serious about it. It has finally clicked for me that this is truly the technology of the future. I know everyone is excited about the potential price of bitcoin nowadays but I think bitcoin is more than that. It is freedom!

I’m mainly here to see if I can take on coding. I don’t have the slightest coding experience. I am a Marketing Director day to day. This is completely outside my realm but I’m ready to give it a shot!

Hi my name is Von and I am from Paris / France.

I m working in the real estate business mainly but became passionate about crypto since summer 2017 when I first purchased some BTC and IOTA.

Since then I have spent a lot of time almost daily on Crypto Tweeter and decided lately that it would be good to get into proper learning so I joined the academy.

I’m hoping that by doing these courses I will get a better understanding of code, crypto and the digitalization of our world in general, and hopefully, find some ideas to add this into my business, or even start a new business on the side related to the course.

Congrats Ivan & your team for what you are doing, good morning crypto is a great way to start the day and the academy is really well made.

Hi everybody, my name is Martin and since 2016 I am obsessed with the idea of decentralized finance. I hate banks and all the middleman which extracts the tremendous value from our society. I believe that the blockchain technology is the the successor of banks and makes them obsolete in every way. I hope that there is a bright future for all of us, especially unbanked people all around the world thanks to the blockchain technology. As someone I admire a lot said - I am not in it for money, I am in it for the technology.

Hi all,

My name is Rafael and I work as a sales manager for a food distribution company in New York. I’ve been invested in cryptos since early 2017 and mostly saw crypto as a HODL opportunity and focused primarily on my job. Due to Covid-19 and it’s effect on the hospitality and restaurant industry, all of a sudden my days turned into youtube binges on crypto and stock traders and this is where I came across Ivan on Tech. I am a salesman at heart and had dedicated my time to be the best at selling food to the top restaurants in New York and thought that this industry was it for me. Until of course, Covid happened.

Seeing as how vulnerable certain industries are to crisis like this got me deep in thinking about my future and where I would like to be in 10, 20, 30 years. Being that crypto will be the future of many businesses, learning the details of what I’ve put, and continue to put, a lot of money in seemed like the move to make.

I am hoping that with these classes, I will be able to scope the crypto market and utilize my skills within this space.

I think the best way for you to know about my interests and general mind set to life is to take a look at the people who I turn to for inspiration. These people are: David Goggins, Neil de Grasse Tyson, Connor Mcgregor, and The Rock.

I obsess over things that I know will benefit my future and I cannot wait to jump in to the rabbit hole that is Crypto.

  • Industries: Software, Internet, Media companies (earlier in my career manufacturing too)

  • Interests: Huge sports fan (#1 football, #2 basketball)

  • First contact with Ivan’s content: 2017 (Video about Blockchain programming) during the big crypto-hype. Browsing youtube can actually lead to good things I guess…

  • Why here? I’m a big believer that crypto/blockchain will have a tremendous effect on business and our life in general. Ivan seems to be a very credible guy and a good source of knowledge. Hopefully, I can add some value to the space in the near future by getting educated now

Hello, my name is Leo. I currently work as an accountant based in a town outside Los Angeles. I have slowly noticed my life has become a little robotic and after watching Ivan for a few years I finally decided to educate myself in the behind the scenes work of cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology. I am very excited to be part of the academy and am excited to see what doors this may open.

Non-work or blockchain related…I am a big sports guy mainly basketball, soccer, and tennis and like attending electronic dance events. I have a few events in Europe on my bucket list and hope to attend them soon.

If we have any other academy students attending Euro 2021 we should try and arrange a little gathering!
