Hi, my name is Amy. I am a PhD student at University of Colorado, USA. My research interests are blockchain and malware. I joined the academy a week ago. I’ve finished watching Blockchain & Bitcoin 101 and Ethereum 101 so far and just started Ethereum Smart Contract Programming 101 and Javascript Programming.

I’m Joshua and have been involved in crypto currencies since mid 2017, but got tired of counting candles, drawing lines, wedges and triangles on tradingview. I’m just now getting around to learning the technicals and actually being able to use them in my daily life. My occupation is not related to the cryptosphere in any way. I’m no coder, but my goal is that by the end of the courses, I’ll be able to make a new career full time in crypto from scratch.

Checking CMC every 5 minutes just wasn’t satisfying so I thought I’d get into smart contract programming. Interested in defi on ETH and ADA.

Introduction
hi @ivan love your channel. nearly as much as i love crypto and linux and horticulture. Im from ireland in the midlands. place called longford. middle of the bog so to say.
Background
im huge into opensource and linux for many many moons now. Got into crypto april last year and have been compounding #btc ever since. i dont have a bitcoin yet but will in may. love compound interest. I study horticulture at the moment level 5 in a gorgeous place called Belvedere House located in Mullingar Co Westmeath. A really historical place well worth a visit. I can program javascript but for sure im rusty. i got good css also scss rusty also. i dont do enough with it… I do a good bit of shell scripting also if the need arises.
The Future
Perhaps i can catch this crypto boat in time and make use of my computer skills as i missed the first boat. I will probably do really well at crypto with arbitrage and the compound interest options available even for the beginner. I will do my best to stick at this course and see what i can get from it. may be difficult with my other studies going on at the same time but i do love a challenge.
