Hey @happy1, hope you are ok.
No need to take months into courses, each course will deliver you a certificate once you have completed all the lessons properly.
By algorand developer, you mean being able to deploy nodes, smart contracts, dapps, so yes, many courses of Ethereum aimed those features, that at the end will help you to understand other protocols (like algorand, some part of the process might be familiar with the course content) .
