How to find ICO transaction on etherscan 🤔

Hey everyone!

I have a quick question for all etherscan wizards. When I check my address, I can see all transations of any ERC20 token, but not the initial transaction that “generated” the funds (during the ICO). Normally at an ICO you sent ETH to a contract address and get the token as a result. Where can I find this transaction (need it to confirm for the tax authority).

Or can I somewhere on etherscan see the initial distribution to all addresses of that specific token after ICO? There should be my target address listed right? :thinking:

Hey @dcts

I guess you’ve already found that out, but you should have a mint transaction (probably tokens were minted) in your wallet.
Mint transactions come from address 0x0
