1. What is the net number of shielded Zcoins in circulation, as of today?
826,062.15 FIRO (Sigmamint address, minted) - 643,598.20117324 FIRO (Sigmaspend address, sent from minting address) = 182,463.94882676 FIRO

2. Suppose you want to shield 11.25 Zcoins via Sigmamint. Ignoring change and fee, what will be the number and value of transaction outputs?
5 outputs:

  • 10 Zcoin
  • 1 Zcoin
  • 0.1 Zcoin
  • 0.1 Zcoin
  • 0.05 Zcoin

3. Alice shields 100 Zcoins via Sigmamint and sends them to Bob via Sigmaspend. What information is visible if you know Alice’s address? If you know Bob’s address?
The amount spent and the amount received as part of their transaction, the final balance and the total number of transactions of Alice are all visible if we know Alice’s address. Same applies to Bob in case we know Bob’s address.

4. In the above scenario, how do we calculate Bob’s anonymity set? (the number of different plausible senders)
Bob’s anonymity set is all the Sigmamints we know or suspect are unspent.

1.) The net number of shielded Zcoins (now known as FIRO) in circulation as of today is 182,463.95 FIRO (826,062.15 - 643,598.20).
2.) The number and value of transaction outputs from shielding 11.25 Zcoins via Sigmamint would be 6 total outputs (number), worth about 50 FIRO or $76.50 at today’s prices (value).
3.) The information visible if Alice and Bob’s transaction are known is the total amount of FIRO sent/received, the final balance leftover after the transaction, and the number of transactions that the address’s minted FIRO was involved in.
4.) In the above scenario, we calculate Bob’s anonymity set (the number of different plausible senders) by looking at the Sigmamint’s we suspect that are unspent.

:one: What is the net number of shielded Zcoins in circulation, as of today?

There have been 826,062.15 Zcoins minted, and 643,598.20117 Zcoins spent,
So there are 182,463.9488 shielded Zcoins in circulation today.

:two: Suppose you want to shield 11.25 Zcoins via Sigmamint. Ignoring change and fee, what will be the number and value of transaction outputs?

There will be 4 transaction outputs as follows:

  • 1 x 10 Zcoins
  • 1 x 1 Zcoin
  • 2 x 0.1 Zcoins
  • 5 x 0.01 Zcoins

:three: Alice shields 100 Zcoins via Sigmamint and sends them to Bob via Sigmaspend. What information is visible if you know Alice’s address? If you know Bob’s address?

If you know Alice’s address, you have the:

  • Total Received,
  • Total Sent,
  • Final Balance,
  • Number of transactions, and the
  • Confirmation receipt

And if you know Bob’s address, then you have the:

  • Total amount received,
  • Fees, and the
  • Mined date and time

:four: In the above scenario, how do we calculate Bob’s anonymity set? (the number of different plausible senders)

In the above scenario, we would have an anonymity set of 1,730, which is equal to the spent segmamints denomination of 100.

  2. Suppose you want to shield 11.25 Zcoins via Sigmamint. Ignoring change and fee, what will be the number and value of transaction outputs? : Denominations and available shielded coins (with which you can ringCT, right?): 4 outputs: 10, 1, 0.25, 0.01.

  3. Alice shields 100 Zcoins via Sigmamint and sends them to Bob via Sigmaspend. What information is visible if you know Alice’s address? If you know Bob’s address? : Alice: the amount of zcoins minted : Bob received total amount

  4. In the above scenario, how do we calculate Bob’s anonymity set? : (the number of different plausible senders)
The anonymity set is the number of plausible decoys in the accumulator.

  3. In the scenario where Alice shields 100 Zcoins via Sigmamint and sends them to Bob via Sigmaspend, the information that is visible will depend on the addresses that are used. If you know Alice’s address, you will be able to see that a transaction took place involving that address, but you will not be able to see the details of the transaction or the value of the shielded Zcoins. If you know Bob’s address, you will be able to see that a transaction took place involving that address, but you will not be able to see the details of the transaction or the value of the shielded Zcoins.

  4. To calculate Bob’s anonymity set, you would need to determine the number of different plausible senders who could have sent the shielded Zcoins to Bob. This is not possible to do accurately, as the anonymity provided by the Sigma protocol means that it is not possible to determine the identity of the sender or the number of shielded Zcoins that were involved in the transaction. The anonymity set for a given transaction is determined by the number of shielded Zcoins that are in circulation at the time of the transaction, but this information is not publicly available.

  1. Alice shields 100 Zcoins via Sigmamint and sends them to Bob via Sigmaspend. What information is visible if you know Alice’s address? If you know Bob’s address?

For Alice’s transaction:

  • The amount spent and the amount received
  • The final balance
  • The total number of transactions.

This also applies to Bob if we know Bob’s address.
