Welcome to the thread about EOS system requirements. Here you can discuss everything about the eos requirements and potential problems that you might stumble upon.
Hi filip i`m just starting to watch your part of course specially for EOS.
I think opensource OS are must for any type of coin as a base.Cos if we dont have free and open source OS servers that EOS will run on, can
t be secure even code on EOS is open source!
I just want to provide a link to FSF that can inform people that not any Linux distro is open source and is free software.

Ok i`m continue with installing dev tools on linux.I wish good luck to all of you! Your team is doing fantastic job !
I used try to compile EOS in Ubuntu on windows, but failed, and quickly I found that Ubuntu on windows is a complete mess!
So I spend some time to install Linux (Manjaro) on my movable HDD, on the way to learn some Unix skills.
---------Update----------
Now EOS github repo have Docker image, so not needing compile, it will be quite easy!
Hi,
I dont have 8gb RAM on my pc, is it possible for me to still follow along in any way?
Hi Filip. Upon installing the virtual machine and the window sub linux - separately i found that i don’t have enough memory. So to upgrade should it be GPU(graphic processing unit) or CPU(central processing unit). Thanks
You don’t need more GPU memory in this case. It’s the main RAM you should upgrade. So yes, it’s the memory for the CPU.
It seems that the EOS portion of the training was at the “bleeding edge” of technology.
