So Iām trying to learn Ethereum as fast as possible since I may soon get a job at a company working with Ethereum. Do I need C++ or is it just for EOS? if yes which part should I focus on, since I already know the basics of C++ from college?

You only need to know Solidity to develop smart contracts on Ethereum. JavaScript knowledge is useful aswell to build the front-end.
