DeFi Ecosystem - Discussion

Chainlink is a no brainer, It bridges non blockchain data with the blockchain. its one of my favorite oracle projects!

witnet.io decentralized oracle that runs on its own blockchain and has a token, WIT

I just finished the intro to Defi. A token that should be in your defi token overview is the Hapi token. It is an onchain cybersecurity protocol for oracles.

Hello Amadeobrands
Do you have Siacoin or APL in your overview
i was very new when i brought them because they were cheap.

Thank you for all the incredible content Amadeo :boom:
What do you think about RUNE?

Here is the link to UniMex, a Uniswap based DeFi protocol that facilitates the margin trading of native Uniswap assets https://unimex.network/

I believe that dexes like Uniswap will become more and more popular places for trading, especially after the release of Uniswap v3. Currently, there is no way for margin trading on Uniswap, and Unimex will facilitate exactly that. I am not a trader and I am definitely not a fan of leveraged trading, but a lot of people will find this protocol useful. It’s always good to have options.

DeFiner (FIN) interesting defi project, with good APYs

Project: PancakeSwap (CAKE)

Website: https://pancakeswap.finance/

CAKE is built on Binance smart chain, a fast and inexpensive alternative to ETH. Enables users to swap between cryptocurrency assets by tapping into user guaranteed liquidity pools.

Binance Smart Chain has much lower transaction fees than Ethereum.

Hi Amadeo,

I recommend putting Orion Protocol into your DeFi Ecosystem overview. Orion takes the liquid from multiple exchanges and serves as a gateway, a single API, for users to interact with these other protocols. Users can also create a portfolio to determine how they interact with these other exchanges and customize their automated asset manager to seize opportunities for assets.

Under 100M, Unify Protocol looks interesting. https://www.unifiprotocol.com/

I like Chainlink and Graph, These protocols make sure the real world data is connected to Blockchain and help create more use cases.

Augur - Betting protocol. Making betting transparent.

Venus same as MakerDao but on Binance Chain.

Unifarm is interesting. https://unifarm.co

It allows staking of one token to earn a few other tokens from various projects.

WoW Amazing to see this all
It seems DeFi Really exploded

An interesting project on Binance chain.

Hey amadeo, i have just listened your course about risks in defi. Now, I got a question about lending and borrowing. How do the defi protocol ensure, that the person who lends the money actually give the money back?

I mean in the centralized world, the bank will give you a warning, and after that they will prosecude and then police comes etc.(in the worst case).

But how is that going on a decentralized plattform/world?

Take a look at 0.exchange. https://app.0.exchange/#/swap

It is a multi-chain dex that is on Avalanche, Ethereum, and BSC at the moment with Matic, Polkadot, Cosmos, and Solana to be added in the future. They are working on a lot of other cool features so it’s worth a look.

i actually thought myself into using harvest.finace
i think its great that you can stack compound interest.

what about injective protocol INJ or kyber network KNC?

Name: Xfai
Category: liquidity oracle for DEXs
website: https://xfai.com/
Tech Stack: ETH and soon BSC
github repo: https://github.com/Xfai-labs
whitepaper: https://xfai.com/whitepaper.html
input crypto: USDT and USDC
problem they fix:
XFai is a set of autonomous liquidity management smart contracts (strategies) for tokens with low trade volumes and market caps. XFai allows holders of ‘small cap’ tokens to earn returns on their ‘small cap’ tokens when providing liquidity and therefore increase their position in those projects

Wow, this is such a massive industry, very excited about DeFi, I am so into the DeFi ecosystem(its manic), your explanations are first class, there being so much to learn and every day new innovations, just read about Alchemix and nice browser easy to navigate1. Alchemix more recently said it sold the investors the protocol’s native ALCX tokens at $700 per token. Then to discover WETH10, which is a new wrapper to Ether, and in the backend of all DeFi.
"Most DeFi protocols actually use WETH in the backend, though they hide this from users by automatically wrapping and unwrapping it at each interaction. If they were to switch to WETH10, the flash mint could grow to its full potential ",(cryptohacksarmy, march 2020)
Looking forwards to deep dive in more lectures on DeFi

Linear is an interesting DeFi project. It’s the first cross-chain compatible synthetic asset protocol.
