I very much agree. Major eye opener.
Etherisc looks like an interesting project to me: https://etherisc.com/.
I work in insurance and see a good bit of variability and human error when insurance should minimize both. Having a tool that allows for, for example, payments to be triggered automatically when certain conditions are met could be very useful.
Ok , Thank you for replay⦠. I understated that just wanna clarify thatā¦I am enjoying this course very much⦠Especially I
like this decentralized insurance segment!! I do agree with you about big potential with this segment.
A lot to learn it is very complexā¦
Great stuff Amadeo! (From Haarlem and love people who are talking next level.
Is this the way traders lend crypto and go daytrade on the market or am I connecting the wrong dots?
Did you come back from Philippines?
Great.
Yes I will be back now doing some work in Bangkok but will be back in Amsterdam soon.
DM me hopefully we can meet at an other Bitcoin Wensday
Hey Amadeo, thanks going into so much detail on DeFi, Iāve learned a lot but will definitely need to watch it again to deepen my understanding!
Maybe this is a dumb question, Iām quite new to this whole space, but what kind of places would I discover a new DeFi project that might be worth adding to the ecosystem overview?
Would the admin keys, white paper info, etc normally be found on that projectās website?
I will put this one on my agenda: oke?
The certificate will be sent via email after completing the course.
Oh Near looks like a tool I want to use! Thanks Kapo
Greetings from the Philippines!
Thank you for sharing the knowledge and materials about DeFi. Iām getting pumped up every lesson! DeFi need to take over our financial investment especially here in the Philippines where almost everything is a scam
Is there a chance i can play around with compound or zerion using testnet?
Cheers!
Hey Amadeo,
Great course, Just wanted to get your thoughts on the Celsuis Network?
Thanks,
Next one I think I will make this meigt be to soon since Iām now still in Bangkok and DeFi 201 recordings coming up.
Red flas feels dangourouse but I love the effort and direction it goās
Yes please hehe I did my best but kinda had some issues with some corrupt people there ā¦
Let me know if you want to press it forward there.
Will keep this alive: https://blockdevs.asia/
I wish to contribute something to change the old system here, but I donāt know where to startā¦
Iām using this opportunity to enhance my knowledge and skill on blockchain technology.
I will hopefully DM you in that time. Canāt wait for 201! I like what all these developers are doing.
What I find interesting is:
how can we help very small businesses that will have a difficult time growing with DeFi/Blckchn.
*I can imagine that the developers are making so that the other developers are taking/participating. The genius to me is how will someone who doesnāt even know what crypto is start using your tools? For example the father of my girlfriend is a farmer who has over a 100 cows producing milk for the big company FrieslandCampina. If they donāt move forward and are litterally milking the cows of the farmers how will a farmer step up? There are no other opportunities for these kind of businesses. I do see IBM taking some steps but I think they will focus on the big fish.
I hear Ivan talk alot about that the cryptomarket needs to grow very fast
With the crypto money floating in these tools I was wondering were the wallstreet of crypto lies? How active is the cryptomarket which is the fundemental of all these tools. If I do a lending DeFi and I go put that in the market then we are working on a growth that is viewed better then everyone stacking it in their wallet? Am I right or is my mind not yet wrapped well ?
Againā¦Thank you for another lecture and great linksā¦
ps: https://antoncoding.github.io/opyn-liquidator/ Link is not working
DeFi has just blown my mind, what a pace of development. I will definitely pay more attention to it moving onward.
Also I thank you for the links, very valuable. The videos are very interesting and informative, great work!
By myself I think insurance - blochain industry is very interesting so please take a look at the German start-up company ETHERISC.
The have an open-source development platform and focus on decentralized insurance applications for different industry sectors.
Good day to all. Can someone please explain to me why my mobile device Metamask has a browser and my desktop is only a Metamask wallet ?
I donāt understand why anyone would want to borrow cryptocurrency with Defi. If I have to provide 150% collateral for any amount I borrow, why donāt I just use the currency I already have to do what I wanted to do. The whole point of borrowing is that if you donāt have enough funds to purchase whatever it is you want to have - you obtain the difference from creditors.
Example: I want to buy a car for Ā£1000. I only have Ā£500, so I borrow the balance (the other Ā£500) from a creditor. Sorted. With Defi, it seems that if I want to borrow that Ā£500, I need to provide Ā£750 collateral, which I donāt have - I only have Ā£500. Even if I did have that Ā£750 as collateral, Iām going backwards by Ā£250, as I have only been supplied with Ā£500 in exchange for it!!!
What am I missing?
