So, over my Christmas holidays I started implementing my own cryptocurrency so that I could learn about how they work in greater detail. I found some helpful online resources, I read through a whitepaper that I found online and I came up with Coil which is written in Python. I would really appreciate any feedback and advice on the implementation if anyone is of any particular expertise or even just some suggestions for features etc. The project is semi-feature-complete but there are still some ways to go in terms of transaction/block verification.
If anyone is also interested in contributing to the project (code/docs/just being friendly), then let me know! Iād be more than happy to run through the inner workings with anyone who is interested.
