I would imagine bitcoin has the most nodes running worldwide at the moment. Would this make it the most secure cryptocurrency? Is it the most secure cryptocurrency? Does it have the most nodes running globally? Am I missing something?
No you’re not missing anything. Bitcoin has the most running nodes which makes it the most decentralized and by far the highest hashrate which makes it the most secure cryptocurrency.

An Update: Now on Dec 4 Etherium becomes number 1 in terms of highest number of nodes globally after Beacon Chain is live for ETH 2

Technically atm these are two separate networks. The old ETH chain and ETH2 Beacon chain. They will be merged eventually.
