1. The front-end developers is in charge of programming the code that user interact with, usually a design is provided by a web designer.

2. Front-end developers usually use HTML, CSS and JavaScript for interactions, there also exist framework to improve speed and ease of development.

3. The back-end developer is in charge of the logic of the application.

4. Back-end developers are in charge of the database, they need to both master Structured data languages (SQL, Oracle…) and the language to interact with the database (Python, PHP…). Some back-end developers are also specialized in data base optimization.

5. SQL, ProgreSQL, Oracle, which are the most known and used, but there exist a lot of them.
