Are the blockchain technology and the cryptocurrencies making a way to the future without the monetary system?

I would like to talk here about healing & educating properties of an information in the context of cryptocurrencies and do a bit of philosophy & engineering regarding the life. I’m currently doing a project regarding electromedicine & biofeedback – It looks like there is a possibility of an interesting experience of human knowledge quantification and valuation.

I would like to directly reflect a value-creating feature of a consciousness in a form of a natural pure principle extension - originally I was thinking about a health coin, but now I think about a kind of digital asset which would directly work as consciousness accelerator  Ordinary idea of money is not clear enough to be understood as a natural (without boundaries) part of human existence. Of course, the situation is better with cryptocurrencies as we are talking in here about a way more subtle approach. However, I would like to go even further and start thinking about future where there is no monetary system. Would you like to join the brainstorm?

I believe that the doorway to a better world, in this case, is a right understanding what is the most important in life. Firstly, let me tell you what is plasma healing. Basically, electromedicine (plasma healing is this category) helps understand human body as an energy system (E=mc2 - right?). The energy/information can be measured and evaluated. Therefore, overall information bandwidth in our collective existence could be much more efficient if we would develop the idea of underlining the importance of human interdependence in the process of energy exchanges.

Take a look at my video which presents a very sophisticated biofeedback tool for brain waves.

The value of human life & health is priceless and the potential of human consciousness is limitless - right? Therefore, we should theoretically experience total abundance if we consider money as a symbol of human energy. And the question is why are we not?

Take a look here - This is an interview which I have done with Patricio - a Therpahi technology activist. Theraphi is a healing plasma device - www.theraphi.net
(19:19:) We talk about an idea of a health coin.

This is just a small bit of the information regarding the process of reflecting the highest understanding of the value of life. Let me know what do you guys think - Do you think that this is a good idea to do a coin (or a kind of program) directly related to loops of the consciousness?

TL;DR response

In a direct response to two parts of your post:

  • a future without a monetary system
I find it hard to imagine a world without a monetary system. We humans like to keep track of things and are also in need of things, this will eventually result in some tradable asset which is again a monetary system. I’m more imagining and hoping for a future with a more complex system in which we share and trade value beyond currencies.

  • Do you think that this is a good idea to do a coin (or a kind of program) directly related to loops of the consciousness?
What value for individuals and groups would should a coin have?

Hey Martin, interesting area to think about. I’m completely new to the science and application areas you’ve outlined in your post, but I have been interested in alternative ways to measure value.

Technology (hardware & software) is allowing us to measure more and more and blockchain is a great way to keep track of that. The danger however is that as we won’t be able to measure ‘everything’ it can create destructive outcomes when we focus our minds on the things we CAN measure.

One of the powers of money and financial wealth is that humans can use it to measure success. I’m not going to go into this discussion, but you can imagine lots of people disagreeing on this kind of measurement methodologies.

Now think about other things we’ve started measuring: IQ, # of friends (Facebook), # of followers (Twitter), # of business connections (LinkedIn), steps we walk (mobile phone), calories burned (Fitbit) etc.

I think measuring more is potentially a great thing, but it has to be done with care and we need to keep in mind that humans are very bad at interpreting data objectively.

As I don’t know enough about the specific application of ‘understanding of the value of life’ I’ll start by replying with some further questions:

  • what would I measure for myself?
  • how would this measurement compare to others?
  • what is the value of comparing with others?
  • if it’s a coin (assuming one can trade it) what would be the value in that?
  • if it’s a non-tradable coin, what would be the value of publicly collection it? Reputation? Recognition?
  • what is the value of gaining reputation/recognition other than the intrinsic value

If we could do something collaboratively, where one person with a certain score (amount of coins) would be incentivized to help others with a lower score to improve the score, then it would help achieve a higher human consciousness for both individuals and humanity as a whole.

One of the possibly related areas I’ve been thinking of is a loyalty program for individual and group values, going beyond the consumption loyalty programs we have now (spend more to earn point to spend more). What if we could keep track of our decisions to support values like fair trade, environmental impact, equal opportunities etc. and ‘reward’ people for making conscious decisions in line with shared values.

I think that the spectrum in your example is below this level of consciousness. Right?

Here are two videos regarding FlameInMind - This is an ideological/visual seed of the technology which will thrive when the decentralization process will be realized a bit more.
