Update: The company has apparently claimed that the whole fiasco about scamming investors was a PR stunt. The CEO of Savedroid has posted a video on Youtube claiming that this terrible event will push for “high-quality ICO standards.” The investors of Savedroid can now breathe a sigh of relief! Initial Coin Offerings are slowly gaining…
Possibly the most ill conceived, dumb, narcissistic PR stunt I’ve ever seen and by far the worst in the crypto space. I can’t imagine the damage this did to their reputation and to investor confidence in this project. Whoever came up with it and approved it should be held accountable.
Not to mention the potential damage they have causes to legitimate, potentially struggling, ICOs that will now have a harder time establishing credibility.
They’ve now announced (after disappearing for 24 hours) that they haven’t exit scammed and that they want better regulations for ICO and that they want to be a part of that … while having just lost all of their credibility as a company as well as a team.
Agreed. A business should be run as a business first and foremost. Personally I wish there is more transparency on how these ICO’s are taking care of business matters in addition to building out the tech.
The word juvenile comes to mind.
Me or Savedroid? .

Hahaha, no worries, I was only joking.
