Dont understand WHY gold-producing countries have in comparison very little Goldreserve, like:
Canada: 0 ??
Australia: 79.9 only
Myanmar: 7.3 (was for decades poorest countr in Asia - perhapy a lot went to China…also do not trust the numver for China: probably much higher)
But how come that countries with great recourses / lots of gold-mining do not keep their wealth / backup in gold? Canada is most surprising on this list…

I could be slightly wrong but I’ve worked out if Britain has 303 tons of Gold, $1700 cost per ounce of gold 32,000 ounces in a ton, UK Gold value around 1.7 trillion USD… Correct?
