Activity Lesson 1

Well, when I was a child I used to exchange bijou (I made it by myself) for school supplies as pencil, stickers, etc. There were itens more available than others, so I think it was a fair exchange.

The other trade I made, It was when I taught as a Chemistry/Math teacher, but I disagree with the payment per hour (since I had to work at home doing/correcting exercises and preparing classes and It wasn’t contabilized).

I remember that I used to trade NHL hockey trading cards. I usually didn’t get a good deal out of it as I mostly just wanted to trade undesirable cards and I just wanted to get rid of them.

I once engaged in a barter transaction where I traded my photography services for studio time with a local music producer. Looking back, I considered it a fair exchange because my photography services were valuable to the music producer, while the studio time provided me with an opportunity to enhance my skills and pursue my passion. It was a mutually beneficial arrangement where both parties received something of value. This experience demonstrated the flexibility and advantages of bartering in non-monetary transactions, allowing individuals to exchange skills and services for their respective needs and interests.

Exchanged an air conditioner for a season of lawn care.I thought is was fair because the value of the lawn care was higher value to me than a used air conditioner.

When i was at school, all my classmates have magazines with different pictures, which you had to buy separately and paste in magazine. There were very rare pictures, and you could change 1 to 3 or 5 thing. Often these barters were unequel, because if your classmate knew , that you need a special picture, he(she) always demanded in exchange not only what he needed, but also from above
It was my first barter experience

Homework for protection from bullies.
The trade upon it’s inception was fair seeing as that I was fairly small and the allotted task wasn’t too arduous. However upon getting older the tasks becoming more time intensive and subsequently bullies mood on from petulant playground slights to pursuing girls so thus the utility in exchange diminished.

When I was a little girl, my granddad told me he would give me a nickel for every time I walked to his house for pancakes (we lived next door). I thought that was a pretty fair exchange since I received both a nickel and pancakes and he got to spend time with his grand daughter.
