Hey @thecil, really keen to get cracking with this course…
However, the lecture 8 and 9 videos (Hello World - Rust Compiler & Cargo Package Manager) is the same as lecture 7 (Visual Studio Code Extensions).

Would rly appreciate if this was fixed!
Thanks again

Checking it! we still have some few issues around some lessons, we are working on it asap!

No prob
Once I can continue on past those lectures if I come across any issues with duplicates/misorders is it best to notify you guys on this thread?

I’m super happy this course is out… I have been putting off making the decision of whether to focus on Rust or Go, so it’s nice of the academy to make the decision for me :stuck_out_tongue:

Yes please! Keep posting each issue/bug you find here. :muscle:

Hey mate, just another heads up :slightly_smiling_face:

The first lecture (Welcome to the Course) and fifth lecture (Introduction to Rust Fundamentals) are the same video - not sure if intentional but though I’d let you know.

Cheers!

Hey @thecil - I just finished the Advanced Rust Quiz.

Question one is:
Which memory management concept does Rust have?
Says the correct answer is garbage collection

Unless I’m reading the answer incorrectly, I would have thought it was ownership-based.

Might be something you wanna fix, or tell me I’m stupid :sunglasses:
Thanks again mate!

Updated! From what i have been learned so far (like you) in terms of rust, i also believe its ownership-based.

I have updated the question, because it is the correctly logic answer.

Thanks man! Keep an eye on this minor errors please

I get information in mail that the course will be about Solana - the blockchain, how it is made, how to use it, about decentralization of it xddd etc
but it is again programing course.

I think you should do more courses other parts of blockchain space, like e g NFTs and other ways to start a career in crypto industry.
