I actually installed metamask yesterday, the day before I started this course. My plan was to use it to put $500 each into several small altcoins. The fee for each transaction was $300! When I saw that, I tried to withdraw my money, but then my account balance didn’t display correctly and it appeared that all my money disappeared! I uninstalled and reinstalled metamask, saw that my funds displayed correctly, and then promptly withdrew all my assets and uninstalled metamask. I’m not planning on using it again anytime in the near future. I’m not interested in $300 transaction fees, nor randomly not being able to access my money.

Yikes! Yeah, I’ve heard about the large gas fees right now; hopefully someone here can help you. (I’m new to DeFi so I can just sympathize)
