Bytecoin’s claim that it had existed “on the deep web” for 2 years was not well received, because not a single vendor, user, miner, drug addict, drug seller, porn broker, fake ID card manufacturer, student who bought a fake ID card to get into bars, libertarian, libertard, cryptographer, Tor developer, Freenet developer, i2p developer, pedophile, or anyone else that is a known person - even just known on the Internet - had ever encountered “Bytecoin” on Tor . Ever. Nobody. Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha

  3. Based on Section 7, “Layer after Layer’, Bitmonero/Monero was successful when other Bytecoin forks were not because the community took over the project by forking away from thankful_for_today (an alleged CryptoNote dev) who apparently tried forcing his ideas into Bitmonero, the community forked into Monero. 1. Based on Section 7, “Layer after Layer’, why was Bitmonero/Monero successful when other Bytecoin forks weren’t?
monero was successfully because of the way they were developing the currency, and mostly because the “core devs” were made up of reasonably well-known people unlike cryptonote/bytecoin. There were round 6 or 7 developers, plus a bunch of other people contributing to the code, and that meant that they’re sanity checking each other.
