hey @VBence99, hope you are ok.

EOS Studio is facing an issue with its cloud or mainnet, the only solution is to download it manually in your computer and install it to use it locally. Its a simple process in to follow

when i go to the eos studio it doesnt let me login

Hello All,

I am running a windows 10 machine and thus have to use the web version of eos studio.

Does this mean that I have to use one of the test nets since I can’t run a local node??

Thanks in advance for your help.

I have to run the web version too. I did get EOSIO to work with windows 10 but you cant install the smart contract part. I tried VM box Ubuntu but the Linux setup was so complicated. You had to download all the little files and I never got it running. I cant seem to deploy on web version. No tutorial on it, at least that i can find.

i figured out how to get eosio working on windows 10. Download the eosio stand alone for windows. Make sure you have ‘git for windows’ go to CMD and type ‘git’ if it says no path recognized then you need to download it here: https://gitforwindows.org/

Now make sure you have Docker Desktop installed. get it here https://www.docker.com/products/docker-desktop. now download EOSIO for windows, get it here… actually everything you need is in this link lol https://docs.eosstudio.io/getting-started/desktop.html
hopefully that helps everyone who has windows.

I have tried to use IOS IDE for Mac OS. Yet, I did not use the suggested settings, and the version for IOS studio was Ok. Now, as I learn along with the lectures - I came to a crossroads that forced me to delete the studio. I want to download IOS studio again and I get an error message that Apple could not check for malware and it did not allow the opening of the studio suggesting to check with the developers for updates.
When I turn around and check the online version of IOS studio I found that the only setting is “block” and others which we are not using for the learning process. I should choose the setting “local.” I like to learn how to fix this problem.

Thank you Jason!
If you guys follow this you might run into problems with the docker as I did.
Make sure “Virtualisation” is enabled in the Bios.
Check in W10 if “Windows Subsystem for Linux” is enabled.
