Homework on Ethereum Intro

  1. What was Web 1.0?
  • Web 1.0 is the first iteration of the internet when web pages were still static.
  1. What is a smart contract?
  • A smart contract is a program that can be coded to automatically execute, control, document relevant events and actions according to the terms of an agreement
  1. How is transparency achieved with ethereum code?
  • Transparency is achieved with the Ethereum code through the Ethereum blockchain, which is a public ledger that is verifiable by anyone.

  • What was Web 1.0?
Plain text, images, no chat as no Java Script

  • What is a smart contract?
An executable, programable, digital, unstoppable, no middle man, transparent contract that can be verified

  • How is transparency achieved with ethereum code?
Ethereum uses solidity as a programming language of the smart contracts. Ethereum blockchain is public.

  1. Web 1.0 is first version of internet you can just read text sending links or pictures nothink more.
  2. Ethereum uses EVM to execute code written in Solidity
  3. More secured, transaprent, trustless apps.

  1. Web1.0 was the first “Version” of the internet. Where all the websites were static, they could show text, an image, and maybe a link. Nothing more.

  2. A smart contract is a piece of code written into the blockchain, which will complete itself, and possible linked actions/transactions, whenever certain requirements have been met.

  3. Everyone can see the code of the block chain, and also of the smart contract, so you can see who the sender/receiver are, and if the smart contact has been fulfilled or not.

Web 1.0 Only allowed the website to share information in one direction, so text, images or links could only be read and shared from the site to the visitors.

A smart contract is a Web 2.0 tool. It can hold money, it can be programmed to disseminate money from person A to person B without middle man, no one can meddle with it and information in the Tx is transparent.

The smart contract Tx is written in Ethereum code, which is on the block chain & easy for all to read , it can not be tampered with, which makes it very trustworthy and transparent.

  1. The first version of the internet where things were static (pictures/text) there are little interaction on website and it you couldn’t personalise it for each person.

  2. Its a trustless contract on the blockchain you can create to cut of the middlemen and not worry anyone breaking it.

  3. Through immutable smart contracts that are deployed on a decentralised network.

  1. What was Web 1.0?
Before Java script, it was the Web like before we know it right now, you couldn’t chat and undirectional, it hadn’t good design or looking, it was more of documents and articles and it was around 2000.
  2. What is a smart contract?
It is to tx, you need a third to send money to oteher person, it can be veryfied, also digital (obviously) and it’s transparent to everybody.
  3. How is transparency achieved with ethereum code?
It is easy to read, trustworthy and secured.

  1. First version of web, static, boring capabilities are text, image, link - basically reading and viewing images, navagating
2.Smart contracts are small pieces of code to hold money and program what to do with it. They run on the Ethereum network. Solidity is the program used.
  2. It cannot be changed, it is viewable by all, transactions can be viewed.

  • What was Web 1.0?
Web 1.0 had static websites which was limited with text, image and links.

  • What is a smart contract?
Small pieces of code programmed on the Ethereum blockchain.

  • How is transparency achieved with Ethereum code?
No middle man nor trust is required, anyone can view and verify the transactions, therefore the only trust needs to be in the code.

  1. web 1.0 is static web programs that only allowed reading and info sharing.
  2. A smart contract is a contract on the blockchain that has stipulations that need to be met before the contract can be fulfilled.
  3. Transparency is achieved by the transactions being open for all to see and the trust factor is removed and total dependency on the contract removes shady deals.

  1. Web 1.0 was first stage of development on World Wide Web that was characterized by simple, static websites.
  2. Code - describing agreement between parties without the need if intermediary or trust.
  3. Everyone can see what is in Smart contract and how it will behave once the clauses are triggered. Also there is now way of changing it which in it self makes it very transparent since no party can change their mind after the fact.

  1. It was the start of the internet ,before Java script was introduced , all that could be done on it was writing, no social media etc.
  2. It is a contract that both parties can view and agree on ,within the blockchain, once active it can not be altered or stopped till it runs its course.
  3. Once a contract is active it is spread to all the nodes in the network for everyone to see.

  1. What was Web 1.0?

It was the static internet before Java script

  1. What is a smart contract?

A smart contract is a code that runs on the ethereum blockchain and triggers conditions which have been programmed into the code.

  1. How is transparency achieved with ethereum code?

Similar to BTC’s blockchain, the contract is stipulated to the nodes and following blocks will be built on the smart contract. Furthermore you can see all tx’s which makes it transparent

  1. What was Web 1.0?
Static website which was only readable and you couldn´t interact with it

  2. What is a smart contract?
Small piece of code in ethereum blockchain which determs agreed facts between parties.

  3. How is transparency achieved with ethereum code?
By PoW and mining in the blockchain

  1. What was Web 1.0? The very basic form of the internet of things. Known as static, text, image and links. Bare bone internet.
  2. What is a smart contract? Smart contracts are coding encryption similar to what JavaScript lays out for the internet. Smart contracts are used to relay how your cryptocurrency will be handled, except a smart contract cannot be changed which creates trust and transparency.
  3. How is transparency achieved with ethereum code? It’s the same concept as bitcoin, the smart contracts cannot be changed. Ethereum is unique in by having its financial applications that upon being deployed cannot be changed.

Thank you

  1. What was Web 1.0?

Basic HTML pages containing txt and forms and pictures

  1. What is a smart contract?

Is layer 2 script that can be programmed with actions on top of the blockchain to execute automatically

  1. How is transparency achieved with Ethereum code?

The blockchain is public and the contract code can be read with a block explorer

  2. It is a protocol online executed by the ethereum node in some clear situation defined in the contract. It blocks a cryptocurrency and manage it.
  3. It’s achieved with open source code and solidity code

  1. What was Web 1.0?
Web 1.0 is a basic website, where there is no interaction. Web 1.0 is static, only text images and links. Whereas web 2.0 is dynamic, it can have chat etc…
  2. What is a smart contract?
A smart contract are small codes runned by solidity which is the language used to program smart contracts on ETH. A smart contract is a system that is trustless, if you complete the smart contract you will get your reward.
  3. How is transparency achieved with ethereum code?
The transparency is achieved because everybody can see what the Smart contract is made of or what it includes. anyone can check and see if this is legit. So nobody can lie about what he previously said in th S.C.

    1. What was Web 1.0?
  • When the web just had stale websites that you could not program on. All you could do was pretty much send and receive information.
    1. What is a smart contract?
  • Code that is written into the blockchain that allows people or businesses to interact without a middle man in a trustless way. A way to transact money in a trustless way.
    1. How is transparency achieved with ethereum code?
  • The ethereum blockchain is public so anyone at anytime can see what is on the blockchain. Businesses dont have to trust each other or take each others word because the blockchain will always hold the truth of the data/transactions stored and enterered.
