Homework on Ethereum Intro

  1. Web 1.0 is the first version of static internet.
  2. A smart contract is a a code that runs on the Etherium Blockhain.
  3. The smart contract exists on the blockchain , visible to everyone .

1- Web 1.0 was all about static websites. They only contain texts, images, and links.

2- Smart contract is small pieces of code that runs on the Ethereum blockchain.

3- Smart contracts are visible to everyone in the blockchain.

Web 1.0 was static with only text and images slow and not enjoyable to interact with.

A smart contact in code written into a contract that can’t be changed so you have trust in it.

Because the contract is written in unchangeable code and math and is stored in a decentralised manner it based on math and technology you can trust it and verify it.

  1. Static webpages, mainly html + css
  2. Smart contracts are codes that are run on the blockchain
  3. Once the smart contract is deployed on the block chain it cannot be edited or removed. You can also read and verify the code.

1/ It’s an static Web, just able to texted, or see images, or links. Just read and check information. Nothing else

2/ Smart contract , are pieces of code that run on the Ethereum Blockchain. With the Solidity (language programme) it has been possible to create the Smart Contracts and deploy them on the ETH Network

3/ Because it is all in the network. All TX can be seen by anyone and they can not be changed, it can not be reverse.

  1. Only static sides, no reaction the different users
  2. contract made in code, acts on itselves when conditions are met
  3. everyone can see the contracts and see what they do

  1. Describes the beginning of the internet where websites were just simple text and images
  2. smart contract is a code that executes transactions once certain criteria are met
  3. the smart contract and transactions are public in the blockchain

1.Web 1.0 was the first internet space. It only incorporated reading and sharing.
2.Smart Contracts are small bits of software that have embedded programmable codes that run on the blockchain network.
3. Transparency is achieved with Ethereum codes by using smart contracts. Smart contracts can not be altered once on-boarding onto the blockchain.

Web 1.0 was the basics- text, images, and links. “Static” websites.

A smart contract is a bit of code that runs on the blockchain. It allows you to program your assets, increasing transparency and reducing the need for ‘middle men’.

Transparency is achieved with ethereum code because everybody can read the code that is programming the assets- nothing is hidden, and nothing is up for interpretation. The decentralized nature of the network means that nobody can modify or stop the code from running.

  1. Web 1.0 is a static boring web. Cuz Javascript wasn’t introduced yet

  2. Smart contract is a contract that runs on a blockchain. You need to carefully code them before deploying it on a blockchain because once it’s there, it is almost impossible to undo them

  3. Transparency achieved in ethereum code with a blockchain

  1. Web 1.0 consisted of static websites with text, images, and text.
  2. Smart contracts are immutable, payable accounts on the blockchain controlled by code.
  3. Ethereum is transparent as all information is publically logged on the blockchain and the code is open-source.

  1. Web 1.0 is known to consist of static web pages with HTML, text, images and links. These are the first types of webpages that were most common in the 1990’s.

  2. A smart contract is a code block which executes and any programmable fashion, given certain conditions specified in the code block (smart contract). These smart contracts are able to hold value and move funds between addresses.

  3. Transparency is achieved through Ethereum code on the contract level as anyone is able to audit the smart contract and trustlessly interact with another party. Once a smart contract is submitted to the blockchain, it cannot be altered and a given event will execute upon the occurrence of a particular condition, as administered by the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) which the smart contract resides on. In terms of transparency in building on top of Ethereum, all Ethereum code is open-source, meaning anyone can learn and understand the base layer of Ethereum and build on top of it.

  1. The first version of web. Static text and images. Boring.
  2. In short, programable money. It is a piece of code that owns money and distribute it according to what was programmed before hand.
  3. Smart contract cant be changed, it follows the all the BTC spec of tracability and immuablitiy. Trustless environement and no need of a middle man.

  1. What was Web 1.0?
The most simple version of the internet: text, images and links.
  2. What is a smart contract?
It’s a piece of code that executes a task or transaction when its conditions are met.
  3. How is transparency achieved with ethereum code?
It’s not possible to change any of the data in the previous blocks or smart contracts.

  1. Web 1.0 refers to the first version of the internet, as it appeared first, with websites with static content and not much interactivity in general.

  2. Smart contract si a self-executing contract with terms being written in lines of code, that exists across a distributed network. The transactions done are trackable and irreversible.

  3. All data is available to be traced by anybody but confidentiality can be achieved by encryption.

My Answers:

  1. Web 1.0 are static websites that includes text, images and links. Only used to read and share information. Very simple.

  2. Smart contracts are small pieces of code which is intended to automatically execute on the blockchain when specific conditions are met.

  3. By the same blockchain fundamentals of immutability, provenance and finality.

  1. What was Web 1.0?
The original HTML based static web. Web1.o is utilised as opposite of Web 2 when, with the introduction of javascript the webistes have become dynamic and personalised.
  2. What is a smart contract?
it´s a piece code that allow an user to lock TXs of all kinds into the smart-contract ready blockchain
  3. How is transparency achieved with ethereum code?
    The code is public

  1. What was web 1.0?
internet before where you can only only read and share text, images plus links.
It was not dynamic that you can chat and create account like web 2.0.

  2. What is a smart contract?
small pieces of code that run on ethereum blockchain, holds money and it is
characterised by solidity (unstoppable, able to see transaction).

  3. How is transparency achieved with ethereum code?
its open that everyone sees what is happening with their money.
