In my opinion chainlink still as a lot of room to grow, but already has a great foundation, definitely going to follow it for the next years
I feel the Kava and Hard Protocol projects would both offer value added if included in the Defi Ecosystem overview. They are crosschain, so not limited to only the etherium ecosystem.

Studied your Defi Ecosystem. I did not find any application running on just EOS. Are my missing something here?
I’m currently having a problem using Uniswap. A couple weeks ago I swapped ETH for RFI, today I was trying to take some profit but cannot swap RFI to ETH. From what I’ve seen it’s a UI bug that comes up with deflationary tokens in general, but I don’t know what to do.

As for the assignment. What about DeFiChain? I know it’s not a project that’s built on Ethereum but on Bitcoin but it is still trying to implement a DeFi concept right? It might also be interesting to discuss how DeFi could also work on different blockchains. I would definitely love to learn more about this even if only to get your thoughts on the matter and maybe also get an in depth tutorial on interacting with it hehehe. Plus I know that Ivan and your entire team seem to have your eyes on this project also. More power to you sir! Stay healthy and safe!

Personally I like Uniswap and ANKR as it allows us to inter-change between crypto and stake it all together without us having to meet the minimum requirement like 32 ETH on the beacon chain.
I also like how you mentioned that in the future we could see a blockchain universe where they interact among each other in the same space.
OPYN looks very interesting.
Insurances will be needed as the space grows.

I’m gona go with Polkastarter (POLS). Ivan discovered it for me on good morning crypto, and I’ve been following is since then. Looks like a solid project. The following is taken from its white paper:

I believe I have found a hidden gem in the DeFi ecosystem, yet not discovered as marketing hasn’t already started. Launched on the 22nd November: https://www.adventuretoken.com/:
- $TWA is the token that can be swapped on Uniswap,
- then pooled on Uniswap with ETH at a 50/50 ratio
- balanced in the Balancer Pool - Adventure Luna Fund
where the ratios are 40% TWA/ETH (Uni V2), 30 % ETH (WETH), 10 % LINK, 10 % UNI and 10 % BTC (RENBTC). - Yield farming contracts will go out soon, enabling BPT token holders to earn more TWA.
Token holders earn by the incerase of the value of the token first, then in all the subsequent steps.

I don’t see SALT int he spreadsheet. It is a competing Ehtereum based site allowing one to use cryptocurrency to secure loans. It currently accepts 12 cryptos.

DeFiChain (DFI) Seems like an interesting project, that provides DEFI services to BTC, unlike most of other services that are based on ETH. So maybe would be good to explore the idea of including BTC into a DEFI world. We can see that already ETH - DEFI can become important, but having a liquidity and legitimacy of BTC IMO puts DEFI one level higher. Market seems to agree with this

Yearn Finance kept showing up about three weeks ago in Coinbase as one of the high daily increase. I kept asking myself, what is this coin that is more costly than Bitcoin at one point over 30000 US dollars? They move funds around the crypto-sphere in order to obtain the most profit. Kind of interesting given that it is worth more than Bitcoin per unit.
Anyone know of any pitfalls of Yearn Financial?
