I might need to hire you one day with this amazing work.
Absolutely love your course, Ivan. Iāve been a regular Good Morning Crypto listener for a long time, but it took me a while to sign up for the Academy. So glad I finally did! The more I learn, the more I realize how little I knew. Canāt wait to finish more courses and get to the point where I can put all this knowledge to use!
Hey good people of Ivan on Tech Academy, I was wondering if one you can answer this question. Can anyone explain Proof-of-work seigniorage and its considered a subsidy?
The article related to this question:

I had the same question. Thanks!
Im happy to find some of the questions i had in mind already answered here. Great course and great community so far
Excellent visualization, Bob!
This looks a lot like a Covid-19 Virus!
This course started out amazing. My first day in and I am mind-blown. Blockchain truly has the potential to change important areas of our lives for the better. I canāt wait to continue learning. Thank you for providing this content in such a high-quality way. I wonder, are there already āblockchain approvedā companies out there? Do you know of any companies providing insight into their public ledger in terms of supply chain yet?
OriginTrail is one of them and is also mentioned in the course.
oh yes right, Thank you! I just looked into it, what an amazing company! We definetly want more of these!
Hello everyone! Im really enjoying the courses. I hope to finish the entire program. I didnāt complete a college degree because I was always changing majors but no other subject has captured my interest like Blockchain technology. Its so mind-blowing that I am so excited to have found this program!!
Question: Any ideas on what type of work can I do from home in the US after I complete the program? Or what type of positions or job titles are available in your country?
I love the way you teach, always giving a glimpse of whatās ahead!
This course is easy to understand. In college I did not like online courses, this one has changed my mind. I am looking forward to starting the next one!
Thank you for your contributions to the discussion board. In my opinion, your mind mapping model is remarkable and fascinating. A solution for the VR 3D spatial tool is possible utilizing COMSOL multi-particle physics emulators and/ or the Unity engine.
Best Regards, Craft
Hello everyone,
Iām really enjoying the course so far, and also enjoying to see what types of people are onboard. Very cool.
One thing struck me right from the start, how Blockchain technology has similarities with natural systems, strangely enough. Iām sure Iām not the only one to see this. A concept in permaculture ( for those who never heard of this, Iām not a pro at all, and there are hundreds of ways to define it, but in short, it is a land management and designing philosophy which is derived from studying natural and whole systems thinking ) is that the more connections there are between functions, the more resilient a system. And the more functions can be answered by many solutions, again, resilience is greater. Peer-to-peer is exactly that. I find many many parallels with permaculture, natural systems, and blockchain. Very exciting!
I am a big fan of permaculture. Centralized agriculture is killing our planet . I am working on incorporating permaculture into my everyday life. I have a plans for a giant garden this year. I am taking this course because I want to combine crypto and permaculture.
@Holt Totally! Centralization versus decentralization seems to be the name of the game right now, wherever you look.
Great idea to combine crypto and permaculture! Iām sure this blockchain universe attracks a lot of pragmatic idealists!
ThortSpace looks fascinating. Thank you!
Have you tried TheBrain mind map software? Each thought can have many perent thoughts and many chile thoughts.
The scary and exciting thing about decentralized blockchains (for ubiquitous purposes such as economic. legal and business transactions) is that it COMPELS political āleadersā to look in the mirror to confirm they actually have clothes onā¦
Spiraling down the rabbit hole:
[a] In China and other totalitarian (non-Individual Freedom oriented societies) countries, I expect The Emperor to simple point the end of the barrel at his or her subjects and remind them that āof course he has clothes onā⦠and they will all nod their heads.
[b] In The West, the singular defining attribute is Classical Liberalism. This Classical Liberalism can be simply boiled down to āIndividual Libertyā.
Leaders in Western societiesSHOULD embrace decentralized blockchains because this technology encircles societyās Citizens with protective mechanisms that (at least in America) are proclaimed to be Natural Rights of all Citizensā¦
This all distills down to the right to think and believe, the right to self, the right to pursuit of happiness, the right to expression. These rights express themselves in many forms, including (but not limited to): privacy, property, religion, opposing ideas, movement, self defense, speech, transactionā¦etcā¦
I see decentralized blockchain as the ultimate digital technological expression of the classical liberal ideals expressed by the American Founders in their Declaration of Independence. For better or worse⦠but mostly for the better.
*I am not referring to the fake liberalism the American political party (ironically named the āDemocratsā) ascribes themselves to.
Thats pretty cool the way you see learning is almost algorithmic
