Blockchain and Cryptocurrencies

So far we can see these big companies like Walmart, Coca Cola ETC … exploring blockchain to benefit from it. IE managing the supply chain, monitoring the quality and source of meat products… ETC.

What about family businesses that produce some kind of product. IE How could a small woodworking shop that produces chairs and tables benefit from using blockchain?

Any Ideas?

Building a Blockchain of information in my brain. Each lessons is a bridging oracle to get to other platforms, building on the network, securing it without saturating the protocol.

I do not quite understand what was meant by saying that money can be programmed into a DAPP and released to a certain wallet or wallets based on some events/parameters being met. Where does the money come from as you are saying it is not from a specific sender but is programmed? I hope the question makes sense.

The money comes from the user. Usually you can’t use a DAPP without depositing funds on the platform you are using.

Thank you for your reply @Alko89, much appreciated

Having had a good appreciation of the Blockchain, I can’t wait to delve into the Crypto interaction with blockchain. The direct and simplified language used in this course makes it really enjoyable to non-tech people like myself. This is great, thank you Ivan!

AMAZING.

What do you mean by “short course”? Does the current version of it contain less information, skills and tolls or are they just more concise?

BLESS YOU :pray:t4:

Hi Also thank you for reaching out. I have the programmer plan but courses in that are way too intermediate for me. I am just looking to seek more info on blockchain, etc, eth, defi and oracles in general,

I guess you could just start with the basic plan for start and upgrade when you’re ready to learn more. Have you sent a message to support yet?

The link to IBM block party is very interesting and informative. Blockchain today is at the point that the internet was in 1982 when I first took flowcharting classes, and learned about BASIC, COBAL, and FORTRAN. most of the work at the community college I attended was done in a mainframe lab. I did not grasp the opportunity that was in front of me at the time fully. It is exciting to be at the early stages of this technology.

Can you guys please try to explain me more about Provenance because i didn’t get it ( i am sorry if it’s a stupid question)

And i have one more question i know when you send bitcoins you need to wait for 6 confirmations for the transaction to be done.
What determines the time for those 6 confirmations to be done ?
