Benefits of using Blockchain - Discussion

Article is not accessible for anyone else?

what article in particular?

The benefits of blockchain are plentiful but it is bringing transparency, a trust layer, and decentralization to a place (internet) that has become very centralized from web 2.0. (social media)
and many more applications will be benefits from the blockchain as a disturbed ledger of account.

Really excited to become an expert and find more use cases and execute on real world problems to solve.

Hmmm, article works for me. Where are you from? It might be geo restricted, do you get any notifications when you visit the site? If its the case we will need to change it.

It is immutable and therefore promotes transparency.
It is decentralized (in theory)
It is powering digital transformation (in IPOs earlier, in Finance, and in assets)

Blockchain is decentralised, verifiable, secure, trustless and HONEST! So sick of the old system of doing things where we are at the mercy of huge corporations, banks and governments. Of course we need some law and order and rules to follow. But sometimes I think the only reason we have a small degree of honesty from some of the giants is because they have competition to worry about in the form of other banks and institutions. With blockchain technology I am hoping we will see a new dawn of honesty based on tech and not trust because trust has been abused so many times in the past. I rather trust technology that holds everyones feet to the fire to the same degree and is set in code that is virtually foolproof. That is the benefit of the blockchain methodology where it is not just one company, corporation or CEO who has the control because if the community of blocks in the chain dont verify the deal it wont be done. Great! We need this from the smallest companies to the highest levels of government. Democracy until now has been a mirage of smoke and mirrors. Sorry, I got carried away.

Even as a beginner and person of average intelligence I can clearly see after watching the first few lessons that Blockchain has massive benefits to just about everything in the modern society. So if it seems clear to me I wonder why the ‘çlever’ people in business and government are so slow to realize this too? Is there some vested interest in letting go of power or is it ego? Or maybe its just that this technology is in such a young phase that it still doesn’t seem possible to implement??? The next 10 years will be very interesting.

The blockchain technology is an alternative way of handling topics decentralized.
What are the benefits? I think it could be a benefit that the power is not centralized in one person/institution/part of the society.

The blockchain helps poor people to be a part of the financial eco system and it makes even IT infrastructures more secure.

I think putting financial system out of the central banks control is something that Blockchain and crypto will do soon.

Freedom! The fabric of a good society relies on the ability for the people of that society to have complete free will without fear of being taken advantage of. Blockchain technology is a tool humanity can use to build an infrastructure that is honest, transparent, trust-less, and more-efficient.

Blockchain makes supply chain more efficient in business, more pieces come together and utilize less ledgers than would normally use. For example, a flower shop can get into a smart contract with their supplier where the contract is automated and the metrics are coded out. Not only that, Blockchain enables transparency, especially in the case of elections.

Blockchain is a database of ledgers where information can be added but not removed. It is decentralized and based on mathematical computations thereby eliminating trust.

While banks hide their ledger, blockchain allows you to see everyone transactions without any private information being shown.
