Thats just crazy when you look FIAT at a crypto perspective! Its really sounds like sh*t in so many aspects!
Your BTC is your responsibility, not the bank, not the government, you are in control.
as a store of value, the scarcity factor and fixed supply, and lack of aggressive inflationary influences over time, suggest BTC (or the like) will succeed and see the light at the end of the day after other currencies start failing, especially for those holding.
More and more people are seeing BTC to be a more favourable store of value and even currency, compared to USD.

Pros and cons… finally a tool or an idea that we can use to go against something that Is not going to help humanity in the next hundred years.

Wealth is what I don’t spend. And control it on my hands without no fear or centralized authority. I will never spend or sell my Bitcoin, It will be pass on to my future children and grand children.
In the sense that it has led to a culture, normalizing and popularizing block chain technologies more generally, many of which are more profitable and do not have the mathematical assurances of independence etc but look set to out-popularize BTC. Unfortunately if people chose short-term profit or convenience for example over independence, this is a fallibility. BTC is not above being centralized either in terms of vested coordinated interests coming to control over 51% of the hash power. So seems to me for bitcoin itself to become a tool of enslavement would require a centralization of hash rate otherwise it will be another blockchain technology which deposes BTC either by being dictatorially foisted ultimately or being simply favored by the market for more short-sighted reasons? Here’s a thought…the NSA came up with the sha-2 hash technology. What if they know how to back-solve it? Then the whole shebang is a house of cards and only the law will decide which cryptos remain standing once the market has done the work in popularizing it. While not necessarily addressing the specific reasons in terms of the technology Alison Hawver McDowell expresses some concerns around crypto and human capital markets coming into view which should not simply be brushed aside in my opinion, she does raise some troubling points. You can read her articles at https://wrenchinthegears.com. Also, Edward Snowden recently expressed some consternation around bitcoin itself.
This is a great principal that seems like it’s common sense, but proves to be difficult. With any investment, assess why there may be a dip of course, but you need to seize that as your in. Fomo is real in the community.
It is a real struggle for me to really communicate this opportunity…

This meme references Bitcoin Pizza Day (May 22nd). An event/occurrence so hilarious it celebrated every year by bitcoiners and people in the crypto currency space.
The event and this meme are a real testament to the fact that Bitcoin is the hardest and most sound money we have today and how its appreciation over time makes it great to hold and unwise to sell in the long term, the opposite of fiat currencies today.

The link shows a man walking with a woman representing the US $, then a girl walks by that represents Bitcoin and he looks at her in awe. The meme suggests that bitcoin is more attractive than fiat currency because Bitcoin has the wow factor. The woman (his girlfriend) representing the US $ is not amused, which is kinda true!
it suggests neutrality, it doesnt take sides, it just is.

Now, why would this be effective if you’re a person living in the US? Yeah, two dudes in the back pointing out something you’ve been hearing about for the longest is now contrasted against a stuffy old bag known to do things in her own best interest while giving no f***s about anyone making less than $60k a year. It was a wake-up call for many of us…
